The Lack of Staff and it's Negative Effects

Hello. There have been a numerous amount of times where staff have been absent on survival and it's very bad for the community. Right now we are going through a massive lag spike due to a lag machine someone has created. It's been about 30 minutes and the survival server has auto-restarted about 10 times. People have been pinging staff on discord and still no sign. So, since I cannot do anything on survival due to the lag, I thought I'd create this. In the past, I have been muted for saying the most simplest things like "I want to suck on a lollipop". Staff having dirty minds is beside the point. This is just very dumb when you compare it to people who have said way more worse things such as actual inappropriate words AND DIDNT even get the mute. :/. There have also been so many spammers who took about 10 minutes to get the mute. SOME of them didn't even get the mute as well. Guess why they took so long to be muted? Staff was absent during the first few minutes of it happening and had to be pinged to get online. ALSOO, this isn't the first time survival has faced a large amount of lag that is being experienced right now. There have been so many times in the past of this season where its happened. Unfortunately, I have no screenshots of these past events (except for right nows), but if you were to ask a normal player in the survival community, they'd answer that all of that has happened. All I am trying to say is please get some staff on survival. I see a higher staff count in other servers like kitpvp but not as much in survival. PLEASE STAFF COME ON SURVIVAL MORE. it's not the staffs fault the lag is happening. We've reported the lag to loads of staff and they're actively working on whatevers causing the lag. Threads like these and encouraging others that people are causing the lag does nothing but make the matters worse. If you want to complain about staff then just do it somewhere else, anywhere but here. We're all aware of the recent lag but doing stuff like this will do nothing but make it worse. In my full honest opinion you guys are so irritating when you create useless drama and intervene in the game that people are trying to play peacefully. You guys accuse each other and target possibly innocent players of shit that they probably don't even know what to do. This thread will do literally nothing but create unnecessary drama.

To be honest InvadedLands has taken steps to get more staff: new manager, new dev, and before them there were two staff recruits within a very short interval. Also, some things about what you said makes me think that you have rarely, if ever, staffed a server

Also, if they are actually working on it, an announcement or at least something to let us know that they are because literally everyone is complaining right now. There is no other place to complain. they can't just snap their fingers and lag stops it's not how it works. They have to find the cause of the lag and make sure it doesn't happen again. This repeatedly happening is a problem i can agree with but i can 100% say that they're trying. They aren't absent either. They're doing way more behind the scene than you know. For fucks sake they even hired new staff members such as Harry and Sxtanna to fufill the suggestions as well as accept and escalate more appeals. Our staff team is small. They're trying. They don't have to tell us their on everytime they log on. There's almost always a staff member on but in vanish. Even on kit our staff interact with us and host events when they don't have to. There was a staff member just on kit monitoring and he's already moved forward the lag complaints to higher-ups. They're aware. Just let them do their damn job, we don't need knowledge of everything.

only the devs can do something about lag machines, and they are pretty busy, neon is dev on 4 servers, and sxtanna is doing suggestions. just be patient, if it’s that annoying, just leave for a couple hours.

timezones, they're almost always on midday pst or at night pst

obviously but you cant have devs without staff and staff have more power to actually contact devs

i can already see this thread is gonna be toxic but let's finsh this shall we?

i see you have a current issue with are staff members and i personally don't like that are staff member. staff do there best and u complain ain't clearly not gonna change ANYTHING. I can tell u are staff members are active doing there jobs they do things privately rather than publicly so please be quit about this current situation. it's being handled. Upper management do not currently focus on the mincraft server they have other things to prioritize to the server could improve but i promise are current staff are doing there best job also just because when u click tab no mods are on doesn't actually mean that there in vanish doing there job and as such.

I actually intended to spread awareness to the staff and never to actually be toxic. i just shared how I've noticed that staff rarely come online and how that's impacted me as a player. I'd love to have something done about it but its clear to me now that people do not agree with me

all servers have lag, wether they are “supposed to be like it” or not. they aren’t gonna disable redstone either they’re just gonna patch the lag machine(s).

Most staff are on KitPvP due to the amount of hackers, toxicity, spam and chat offenses. Also staff have lives to. They need to eat, walk, sleep and live their life. Staff are trying their best to keep Invaded safe.

I meant I didn't want to get used to the fact that lag machines exist and players do that to ruin the experience. i do understand however that plugins may cause lag.

These debates bore me now.

Staff are on more than you think but it's near on impossible to have someone on all 3 servers 24/7.

I logged on earlier to check up on survival and saw there was 50 players on, I asked why and someone in chat said lag spikes/ crashes.

I messaged a mod.

I got a reply within seconds saying it was being worked on.

I'd presume it will get fixed ASAP, although I'd presume all you Minecraft server experts could fix it in seconds.
