Just from seeing the thumbnail and the title, even if it was randomly recommended by YouTube, I would not click it. If I don’t click on the video, I cannot click like either.

i have watched the video.
I would not lie nor tell jokes because I feel like you could do better if I give some serious advices.
I would say...

- it’s super short
- no sound effects are used
- the watermark covers the whole screen(unfortunate)
- the start of the video is not original
- the frame rate is trash
- the bgm never changes + it is out of place
- the writing on the video is really hard to see(put it at the top and highlight it)
- some references are not funny nor makes sense from my view.
- add slight video effect

+ you have potential I believe.
Some editing applications on iPhone/ iPad is crazily good nowadays. Try them out.

There's quite a few free video editors out there, I heard Davinci Resolve was pretty good.

^ thumbnails are pretty important too, it's usually the first thing you see. You pretty much want to make it as appealing as possible and not have to rely on the title. seems like the only time you can really get by with a bad thumbnail is if you're lucky and hit the algorithm lmao

Not necessarily. What I think first of Clickbaiting is to lie or to have a thumbnail that is pretty irrelevant to the whole video but 1 piece of it.
Great example is “Top 10 Anime fights” with a thumbnail of cute girl with big chest, whether she is in the video for less than 20 seconds or non.

To see Videos with interesting thumbnail, search Minecraft highlights. They look awesome.
