Q&A - didgo

Hey! So I have 2 questions,

1. What are your personal pros and cons to becoming a staff member? (What do you like most and regret/dislike most)
2. What advice would you give to aspiring staff who've applied this season (not just to me, to everyone in general)

my advice tbh is to just be smart and use common sense. imo if you need a lot of help/guidance then you probably aren't a good fit. it's ok to get help sometimes but honestly relying on it isn't a good thing.

Will Skeppy come back and record more videos on InvadedLands like he did in the old times.
Im just asking, this was a good strategy to get players on his server. (Which was record on invaded lands)
Hopefully he will soon:D
I hope he will, always good to get new players on the server, but that’s his decision.

Do you remember me?

Good Questions!

1. I think the biggest pro is being able to do more than you could as just a normal player. Personally I always wanted to help out more, and what you can do as a player is very limited in terms of server changes compared to what you can do as a staff member. So I’d say the ability to improve the server and the experience is a big plus. Biggest drawback would likely be the fact that you really can’t play as normal anymore. I’ve talked about it before in my previous replies that becoming a moderator means sacrificing your ability to play the server the way it was intended for players. It’s a trade off we’re all willing to make to improve the server.

2. Honestly staying mature, having proper experience, and staying active are the things we look at the most so I would say stick to those three, and the rest will fall into place.

serious question, I know a lot of stuff is private, but does the sever owner actually participate in staff meets or owner duties? (skeppy)
