Just a thought for the future of KitPvP. Before I was blacklisted it was not as bad, but when it became known people began abusing and creating macros to use the wellknown "gapping while running" mechanic. I believe it would be almost impossible to have an anticheat catch this, however I believe staff should allow players to report and record people using and doing this glitch, and it should result in some sort of punishment. I believe this because this glitch is incredibly gamebreaking. You are able to gain health almost 3x as fast, as it eats quicker than actually eating a crapple, AND you do not have to stop moving in order to eat said crapple. This is extremely hard to manuver around as the player can just run in circles and continue to heal, and bowboosting does not stop this due to when bowboosting towards the opponent eating the crapple, they can simple turn around and continue to run and spam crapples. Let me know your thoughts in the replies!

Agreed. Not many people can do due to their ping and their reaction time as to do this mechanic running and eating. When you drink a speed 2 potion and begin to run and eat this will be OP. And this should be stopped.

thats not the fault of the people who can do it? If it's a mechanic inside of minecraft where people will easily be able to abuse it. Its the same concept as bow boosting, lower the ping, easier to bow boost, lower the ping, better hit reg, lower the ping less kb or if you have super high ping, better reach, delayed kb. Same differences. You can't really patch this glitch as well, so either they patch it and make it so no one can do it and THEN make it against the rules or, accept the fact that it's just part of vanilla minecraft?

Let me offer a counter-argument then.

Considering this glitch takes some genuine skill to pull off consistently, couldn't someone consider this a PVP mechanic? And let's say we do consider this a PVP mechanic, if we disallow this, should we disallow other mechanics such a W Tapping, clicking methods, and bow boosting? These are all mechanics that take skill to pull off to give you an advantage. Would you have us ban people for those? And to make the counter-argument for macroing, you could macro to achieve any of the mechanics I've mentioned, so what in reality, is so different about grappling while running?

Of course, I am not saying to utilize macros, and if there is evidence of a player using a macro to achieve any mechanic, they will be punished. But in all honestly, this could be argued as just another strategy discovered that other players will eventually learn, and adapt to.
