Hey, @myro I recently came to this conclusion about the gapple glitch and you should hear me out on this. I would also like to hear what you think.


Let me offer a counter-argument then.

Considering this glitch takes some genuine skill to pull off consistently, couldn't someone consider this a PVP mechanic? And let's say we do consider this a PVP mechanic, if we disallow this, should we disallow other mechanics such a W Tapping, clicking methods, and bow boosting? These are all mechanics that take skill to pull off to give you an advantage. Would you have us ban people for those? And to make the counter-argument for macroing, you could macro to achieve any of the mechanics I've mentioned, so what in reality, is so different about grappling while running?

Of course, I am not saying to utilize macros, and if there is evidence of a player using a macro to ac=vieve any mechanic, they will be punished. But in all honestly, this could be argued as just another strategy discovered that other players will eventually learn, and adapt to.
Well not only its a glitch but all the other things you mentioned are things that aren't a glitch and is actually a mechanic in the game, and the running and eating glitch only affects people with good ping, so not only this is a glitch not an actual mechanic not everyone can even do it because you need a good to decent connection to the server which not everyone has and that just makes it more unfair.
 
Clans

The limitation of the clan system

Clans should be able to invite more members in it what's the point of having a clan system when you can only get 5 of your 'clan' members in it, the 'clan' system is just basically a chat for your clan members so I don't see why giving us more slots will affect the server that much.

Things that I think should be added:
Since a friendly fire option will most likely not get added I think that there should be a tag/symbol next to our clan members and allies' names so it'll help a lot more in situations involving pvp which will make our allies and clan members easier to spot and makes it easier to identify who is who.
A /focus command which applies a pink or a bright color to a person's name when /focused which makes communication better in team fighting.
There should be a command like /tl which gives your coords to your clan/ally chat.
Add a function where you do @ (message) and it sends that message to your clan chat since having to toggle /clan chat off and on just takes too long and is inconsistent.

Eating While Running

A Vanilla glitch that is abused by people (mainly with good ping) mainly using macros to have a 100% chance of doing the glitch

Eating while running should be bannable through player reports since eating while running is a bug that is abused by many people mostly using macros which give them 100% chance of eating while running which is just unfair. This should just be bannable overall since it is a vanilla bug that wasn't meant to be a feature and it is being abused mainly in unfair ways.

Clan Upgrades

All the clan upgrades aren't worth it, The invaded clan system is basically just a chat for your allies and your 'clan' members I don't see why i should spend so much money on the upgrades when they're just gonna give me the ability to chat with my clan members when most of the people who have clans are in calls all the time.

Should be cheaper
If not cheaper it should give better upgrades (more slots, more allies, better mutipliers)

Achievements

Unbalanced Achievements

*Only takes 10 chat reaction wins to get access to light red color chat.
*Need to get 25 event wins to get a tag (I do think this is fine though)
*Only need 35 kills for such a valuable item (strength 3m)
Though the [Prodigy] tag is global and is seen through all the gamemodes I still do think that the light red chat will be too common so I do think that the achievement 'Rapid Response' should be made harder.
Make it harder to get strength from the achievement not only 35 kills because people are abusing the use of alts to get such a valuable item in just a few kills.

This last one isn't really a very important thing but I would love to see player inventories at the end of a duel match.

I really hope staff takes this into consideration :)

i disagree because, for example if you have 30ms or 200ms bow boosting is still easy, you just have to time it differently, while running while eating is basically impossible with 150ms+ so its an unfair advantage for people with high ping.

all of these are very poggers but the ones relating to player nametags might take some more time, XeNitrogen as of right now only has the abilities for regular player nametags based off of their ranks, and the [V] nametag prefix when a staff member is in vanish, so unless there's an API for this or some hidden feature that has never been used the nametags will probably not be added anytime soon :l

Also agreed, but might be harder than it sounds from a developmental perspective.

Overall good suggestions, I hope they will be implemented.
