Nickname Suggestion

I like this idea a lot, I've seen people use /nick to bypass or get away with saying inappropriate stuff, and it would be an interesting addition.

This. I mean I only use /nick for being MusicDiscs while my ign is Montgomery so meh.
ya know CHAT IS LOGGED, AND MODS CAN SEE THWERE REAL NAME , IM LOSING IQ POINTAS

kinda is because people are paying for the ability to nick so your throwing away a couple bucks of theres
People are paying for the rank that happens to include /nick, I could probably make a poll right now and almost nobody would say that they bought a rank entirely for /nick

Bruh r u ok???
people dont directly pay for the perms to /nick, they buy a rank that has /nick perms. /nick is not a part of the game that effects gameplay at all, it is solely cosmetic. like how people have lunar or blc cosmetics, but players can make it so they don't see them.

if people can type a command to disable the feature of /nick whats the point of having it. and i know that you have to type a command to see nicks biut still
they're a cosmetic for the person using it, it honestly doesn't matter if other people can toggle it. it's simply a cosmetic

anyways i 100% agree w this. especially w the hovering over one. seems really productive and useful! so many people in nick message me and it's confusing (esp when, like voltage said, they have a one letter name)

ok **** this

tbh
  • because some people dont want to see other peoples nicks
  • because it is harder to report someone for chat offenses if they are nicked
  • because it is harder to find out who is messaging you
i think that hovering over someones nick is good enough, no need to have a way to disable it
