Idk what its meant to be but I don't really like lapis in large amounts in builds. Maybe try stained clay or concrete because survival can go up to 1.12.2
Considering as to how there is a waterstream in the center of my build, it would be nice to stay with something blue. However, as stated by Vooltron, lapis does not look very good when overused in builds, which is why I created this post.
Dia blocks, along with all other mineral blocks (other than lapis, which I use sometimes), are my least favorite blocks to use in builds. Considering the amount used (nearly 1/3 of the lower build) and price of mineral blocks, it will cost a decent chunk of my bal to use mineral blocks (Don't ask about me already having lapis there, I had loads in my storage) Also, 1/3 of the build is often considered as overuse in terms of mineral blocks.
I was probably gonna end up using either pris or sea lanterns lol still wanted to see if there were better suggestions
Prismarine's the best, it's perfect with white blocks and also it slightly changes colour which makes your build look very cool
