Why you should switch clients

Why you should switch clients

blc still has some important features that lunar doesnt - blc does have alot of issues tho and my fps isnt very good

It’s like u hate fps.
Forge community has tons of fps booster like lithium, optifine, and etc. Another bonus is that you are actually supported the devs who made it instead of those clients. Forge is much more customization and sure its harder to do but its worth it at the end of the day

I have tried SO HARD to like Badlion more. It's just not good. The only thing I like it for is replay and you can customize your name if you have Insider.
BADLION IS ALLY MONEY BASED. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR 3.0.

I get around that framerate with an FX 8350 on stock cooler, 16 gigs of DDR3 RAM, and a GTX 1050Ti...
My RAM is so overkill it's not even funny. I had 32 gigs and my uncle who works for Microsoft send me another 32gb so I might as well use it

Ok so pretty much everyone knows I was a Badlion fanboy but sorry all of those who use Badlion here are some reasons you should switch to Lunar

Lunar Stats:

Fps AVG on my Normal PC: 1763
FPS AVG on my old Asus laptop: 120
Mods: A very good selection
GUI: VERY Clean and modern
Gamemodes: They released a 1.16 previously, giving them 1.7,1.8.9,1.12, and 1.16

Badlion Stats:
Fps AVG on my Normal PC: 1478
Fps AVG on my old Asus laptop: 69 (haha funny number)
MODS: The only mod that I would ever consider using Badlion for is Replay
GUI: Even with the new 3.0 update it's still very cluttered and just blech
Gamemodes: Gamemodes comes down to opinion. In my opinion for PVP I only need 1.8.9 and normal play the 1.16 which Lunar already has

LC vs BLC

GUI: Lunar is cleaner and easier to access stuff
Main Menu: Again, Lunar is cleaner and does not shove all of their cosmetics in your face while you are on the main screen
Cosmetics: I will have to give cosmetics to BLC, they are pretty cool
Mods: They both have different variations of mods and the ONE mod I would ever consider going to BLC is replay
Support: Lunar has a better support team and better staff
Gameplay/FPS stability: LUNAR 1000% . When I play on Lunar I don't really experience FPS drops and lag spikes. BADLION on the other hand FPS drops at least once a minute going down to very low FPS and then back up again. Playing on BLC is very choppy

(Also, if you buy stuff on Badlion you are paying PEDOS)

I know that was a lot to read for forums but if you want a better experience Lunar is the way to go
If you feel like there is anything very important I missed in my tests let me know and I will fix it

Happy Holidays!
crazy stats my god, "1478 fps" fam I get around 200 fps ;-;

also schematica but yea lunar is better
As someone who uses Schematica regularly to transfer/test builds I can say BLC Schematica is hot garbage.

The whole point is to be able to easily recreate what you’ve already made. When you use the Forge version, you get access to layer mode. This makes it so easy for you to be able to see what you need to place and where. Without it, trying to build something without printer is a nightmare.

But, you can’t even use layer mode on BLC. There’s not option for it in the GUI, or in controls. It’s a mess. I would not give BLC points for this.

I hope Lunar allows for LAYER Schematica one day, but for now if you’re looking to use that my recommendation is to use forge.

Lunar > all.
