its not a scam if you can get it but yes you do have a low chance of getting it
it is a scam, paying 5$ just to get a low chance of getting it? most people i know have spent like 50$+ and still havent gotten what they wanted lol
a scam would be if you spent money on something and having no chance at all to get it because if it has a chance then it would just be if your lucky or not

This is the most accurate response. Locked.To clarify since there was some uncertainty in this thread:
-Event host perms can only be won from crates. In the past it was only seasonal crate keys, but they have been added to Invaded crates after this reset. (Not all events are currently available, and will be available in later seasonal crates.)
-The only ranks that affect event hosting perms are staff/youtube ranks. Trainees+ Bypass event 24h cooldown, and youtube and Mod+ get access to all events. No purchasable ranks get any event permissions.
-Event Host permissions will not go away after resets, once earned, they will always be usable by you with a 24h cooldown.
