yea this isn't a great idea imo but ngl some people being rude about it instead of being constructive is kind of tasteless so if you wanna read this @kghj123 then go for it!
the perks don't seem very appealing to people who typically do well in every survival season, not to mention there are quite a few public farms built every season where people don't have to pay to get in. for example, simpsquad this past year is arguably the most popular one (as a relatively new person to being active on survival, it's the only one i really hear about) and supplies you with free food and free money. also people don't care about shout outs unless the person giving them has clout or is a mod. so again, your perks won't really grab anyone's attention unless they're new to the server or looking for new friends to build with
the idea of a government *probably* won't work on invaded, but again, you're free to try! most people don't seem that keen on joining and i apologize for all the rude and negative responses that you got
but like you said this isn't a small project and *might* be too big of an idea for invaded and most people here aren't that big into roleplay, and others will probably associate it with the dream SMP (which could be a good or bad thing depending on the person. bad for me tho) there just isn't any reward to helping since most people already have their own teams/groups/whatever. you'd probably be able to get a bunch of newer players who haven't found anywhere to go yet, but there's no guarantee that they'll be good people and it might be difficult to ward off griefers, especially since if you have them /trusted then the staff can't/won't do anything about them if they do actually hurt your builds
you can literally do whatever you feel like, nobody can gatekeep minecraft survival LOL don't let what i or anyone else says discourage you, but those are the reasons I wouldn't donate/join. people were kinda rude and didn't explain what they didn't like about your idea so i hope this helped you. maybe change up your perks and some people will come around?
also btw titling yourself developer is another thing that people probably didn't like!!

but there's no appeal to it is the main problem, this would directly be appealing to new players who will later change to do their own thing within like a month.
