So, I'm thinking of hosting a Minecraft server hosted on a PC dedicated for it, but I don't want to get DDOSED or DOXXED or something like that. I know most servers, most likely Invaded too, host their Minecraft server on their own instead of using a Minecraft server host (although Minecraft server hosts ALSO host server on their own). Please help me I want to make a server but I don't want to die.

If you want to self host, you have to portforward the devices IP which opens a ton of security risks to your network. Assuming you have fast enough internet speed, you could set up a DMZ to reduce sec risks.

most of neon's works are private- i sincerely doubt he'd let you use xenonservers or any of his private stuff
I recommend looking up OVH, it's not free but it's relatively cheap and good (and on sale lol). it's also not self-hosted, like you said you wanted, but there are a lot of security risks otherwise and if you're not sure how to handle them or even host a server, I wouldn't recommend trying as of right now
