Hi,

I stopped playing skyblock on July 4th because I found the changes to be awful. Increased already high spawner prices. Decreased selling prices. It basically made profit shops unusable.

Here's what NEEDS to be added:

-Decrease spawner prices to how they were. (A lot of people thought that I was referring to chick spawners which I wasn't. I meant top spawners like iron golem and pigmen. I personally think that chickens should go back down, but sell prices for chick items should be way lower. (a.k.a a good way to make starter cash)

-Increase sell prices to the way they were

-During the reset add something new to the game (More on that later)

-Increased crate key money amounts, or remove crate keys entirely as they are useless right now. (Keep vote crates and up the rewards)

Here's some stuff that SHOULD be added:

-Custom enchants

-Custom mobs

-Better spawners (Spawners work differently, things spawn faster, )

-More things added to the server store

Etc. I will add more if I think more should be added.

Agreed, I liked the way it used to be with chickens being easy money but still kinda expensive cause you had to but a decent amount. Custom enchants and mobs would be great so it doesn't feel as vanilla as it does this season

+0, I feel like chickens were too easy to grind but some of these could be ok
-Increase sell prices to the way they were
-0.5, I see your point but this feels like it would be making the game a little too easy

-1. If you want to buy a key, it's your risk, nobody should be taking it off if people want to use keys to support the server, and vote crates are way too easy to get for upped rewards.

-0.25, most people play skyblock for the vanilla aspect, I would enjoy this, but I'm sure plenty of people wouldn't.
-Custom mobs
-1, takes too much away from the vanilla aspect part, would make skyblock more like hypixel 'skyblock' and not really worth it in my opinion
-Better spawners
+1, would make the game easier, but spawners are currently a little slow for people who can only buy one and have to wait like a whole hour just for 100 cows. (my experience anyways)
-Huge mob caps
-0, Impartial to this idea.
-More things added to the server store
+0, I really think that this would help them bring in more money and better resets but what would it be like? I want to see more before I agree with this suggestion.


take my opinions with a grain of salt i haven't played the game in a month
 
I feel like half the things you suggested would make the gamemode ultimately more boring. A lot of what you said is making many things more OP, and that wouldnt be more beneficial in the long run. It would be fun for a good month, then the gamemode would die off even more than it has this season. This would increase the total server balance, also making it dramatically more difficult to do IRL deals. Keep in mind I do not play Skyblock so this is just my opinion on the matter.

nononono the prices are good its just a bit harder to grind for but its pretty balanced

-1000 no invaded is a pretty vinnala sb server adding custom mobs/enchants would kinda ruin that

This reset eco's ideology was good because it made skilled players have an advantage instead of having fucking chickens making eggs and feathers. Invaded is loved for the vanilla thingy shit. I would love some custom things but the player base will die prob.If we did fucking mob caps like that would kill the economy bc those 500k mobs will make u like 10+ million(i am most likely wrong im estimating from my brain.) For crates that just not a good idea in its self.
My conclusion my message is that im milking likes thank you for the likes everyone!

Skyblock used to be at the player limit before the July reset. It would have 150-200 players on it, now it has 50-100. That says something.

I also personally didn't use chick spawners before the reset, I'd use iron golem spawners to make a profit shop. I loved profit shops!!!!!

dont know if youve heard of this but there was this called coronavirus and lockdown and around march everyone started to have to stay inside their homes thus player counts were up because people had more time to play minecraft ???

There was 200 players a few years ago too, but resets like this keep making players like me leave. I understand covid might have had an impact, if so they would be at player cap during the summer (they wern't)

there was also this thing during that time called events where people would fill the server to try and join them!

aint no way skyblock earth got 200 players when it was annouced

Yes, they fixed that with pvp lands, (which didn't work out). If the reset was good, there would be more players, there aren't. They are failing at keeping a big playerbase. 100 players is good don't get me wrong, but it's not 200 like it was.
