Yes, I would expect people would have enough common sense not send out death threads just because someone cheated in block game. However that is not that case. I'm not saying that Dream needs to be accountable for these people at all that is not my point at all. My point is that Dream should as a massive influencer and creator with a massive fanbase should take the fact that there are plenty braindead apes like that on the internet and I would expect that he should be able to consider that fact when he posts. I'm not defending those people at all but they sadly exist and will harass, dox and send death threats to someone for cheating on a block game and Dream as someone who has power over these people should treat that power more carefully.
I agree it is hard to tell what actions can lead the toxic part of your fanbase to a brigade against someone. However a lot of creators are able to consider their actions by taking into consideration the fact that they have power over these people. Dream however as a very new creator relatively speaking lacks that notion.

And I've replied explaining why they are indeed valid. You've also been repeating what's already been said. Moreover I will explain it again hopefully this time a bit better. Also you used "they're" as in plural however only two were ever bought into light and we agreed with the second one so... I will assume that was an error on your part and as such I will only explain the first case. Dream called out Drem in a seemingly innocent comment. That innocent comment sadly turned into the propelling force against Drem. Although I wont give all the blame to Dream since the comment itself as you have said just called Drem out and would have been acceptable if it weren't due to the fact that Dream is a large creator. But I think we can all agree that when you have a community that has large section full of toxic children that stan you, you should think more about what you post online when criticizing other people. But yes the toxic people that did all the bad stuff to Drem are in fact the ones that need to be held accountable.
Which ties directly into my point. Dream is a very manipulative liar. To me it's just disappointing as to why so many people still trust him. But no those people that still believe in him wouldn't have cared if he cheated as they're the hardcore stans. Besides he said he's not going to do any speedrunning attempts anymore and uploading them to the leaderboards.
Again this is not exactly Dream's fault which is also why I'm not only hating him. This is really the fault of the Dream SMP. I can tolerate stans and fans but sadly there is quite a large group within these communities who are really toxic and braindead.
Well... he only mentions it briefly but overall he just copies his "big brain" plays from other people. To the ones he does on his own I will give credit. I'm also not against people using "big brain" plays from the internet even Dream in his videos as that's how they spread and become popular but there are still a lot of people who give all the credit to Dream.
No... that was not my intention I was just saying that he didn't make a response UNTIL he was pressured into making one. But personally I don't think responses condemning that type of behavior are effective at all.
You're right it wont stop them. It is fun first of all I know this is immature but seeing #ripdream on twitter and a bunch of stans getting mad is funny. But it may even stop some of them and if even one can stop being braindead then I'll take that as a win.
He is not excused. I've already said why and I'll say it again. Him acting the way he did to the mod team not only made his situation worse but really showed his true colors and egotistical he is.
There's a difference from people who produce shit content and just clickbait the hell out of it like "FIDGET SPINNER AT 3 AM!!! CALLED THANOS (GONE WRONG) (COPS CALLED)" I am not putting him at that level at all. What I tried to say was that he got his career off of PewDiePie and I mean sure he isn't at that level but that level is rock bottom so it's not saying much.
I am not. As I've said as long as they don't attack people for no reason just because their overlord Dream says to and have some basic common sense, I have no problem. My problem arises from the fact that the a sizable section of his community is little children who fanboy and stan Dream who go and take direct orders from him. Dream then acts carelessly when criticizing other people and acts surprised when his fanbase harasses the guy.

the only thing i agree with you on this is the fanbase. yes, there’s a good chunk that are just weird and obsessive, but also, you’re mixing those who aren’t crazy in with that obsessive side. that’s the problem with 90% of the gaming community. painting a whole fanbase as bad and determining someones personality because of a stereotype, which isn’t fair.
i did a social experiment where i wore dreams skin for 2 weeks. i counted how many times someone has targeted, bullied, or shit-talked me in public chat. 27 times.
