yes, the player count is a little lower than it has been but it's not flat-out dead. as soon as the reset happened the player count will spike up again

It’s one thing to correct the wrong “your”, but you are literally correcting people who are using the grammar you would use on forums. It’s not supposed to be extremely proper, so it’s not necessary to comment on someone not saying “the”. You aren’t funny, you are just intentionally being annoying.
