it is, i literally couldnt do it yesterday, i never fail it usually, it works but you still take the fall damage
But it wasn’t a glitch u actually had to be good to pull it off? Smh...
I launched myself off of spawn, threw the string of the rod on the spawn island, and barely managed to get the hook to get stuck in the land of spawn. Precariously hanging, and dangerously exposed to lethal arrows being shot up from the beastly arena below, I mustered all my strength and managed to slowly rewind the string, I had almost reached the island, when suddenly an evil player appeared and freed the hook. Just before it came free, however, I managed to hoist myself up; one hand managed to grab the spawn island, and I was now relying merely on it. With the momentum of the rod, I managed to swing the string around, and hit the evil player in the back; the impact, and the surprise, sent the player tumbling inevitably down in the abyss below. He tried to lunge and grab my rod, but he failed, and terror filled his eyes as he realized his impending doom. Finally, I managed to climb back up. I had cheated death once again.
This means that you can still "rod clutch" and "save yourself if you fell".

To the people who say you can still land it, you still take fall damage hit reg changed or something.
But does bow clutching work still?? Like you do the same thing but with a bow its a bit harder but it works.
