ban reset

i remember there was a ban reset around the time of the kit reset of summer 2019. if this was the most recent ban reset, then i think there should be another one soon.

If you use your eyes there have been many posts about this and all the time that staff said there will never be one.

jesus christ i suggested a ban reset and u think that means i'm banned, bro. no. i just think everyone deserves a second chance for bans because whatever they didn't isn't that severe. blacklists on the other hand should never be reset.

I don't really see a reason to reset the bans, because anyone can appeal or purchase an unban as mentioned here in zacky's response.

There are no current plans to reset bans and quite frankly there is no reason to. As mentioned, most bans are justified (and for the ones that aren't, players are welcome to appeal), and players who are guilty of cheating (or other offenses that result in a permanent ban) are already given the opportunity to earn one final chance on the server if they choose to admit guilt in an appeal and take responsibility for breaking the rules.

Any player who continues to violate the rules after being given a second chance has proven that they are not willing to adhere to the rules and deserves a permanent ban. Allowing players who have deservedly gotten themselves banned from the network to come back would not be fair for the majority of the playerbase that wants to play the game fairly.

To be blacklisted is more than just getting banned, some of the blacklisted players are blacklisted for reasons that would put others safety at risk. Of course if your blacklist is false then you may create a blacklist appeal, however due to the severity of a blacklist I don't see them getting reset ever/anytime in the near future.

The same goes for bans, I don't see them getting reset anytime soon. While bans are not as serious as a blacklist, when you are banned you can:

• Appeal your ban and maybe be eligible to receive a reduced punishment;
• Buy your 1st unban from the store;
• Buy your 2nd unban from the store.

You have 3 possible ways to go about maybe coming back when you are banned and if you have used up all 3 of them ways, that would've been your 4th ban. I mean- bans got reset around the middle of 2019. That's quite a few bans to obtain from then to now (less than 2 years). But as said above, I don't see them resetting any time soon.

If you'd like to make a proper suggestion, you can, however, the replies to suggestions like these have always been a hard 'no.'
I would recommend making a detailed list of pros and cons if you want this to be considered.

Keep in mind that bans are easily appealed/purchased, as mentioned in the posts that I quoted.
