why don’t the higher ups give us any information at all pre-reset? we’re just here left ghosted as we wait for reset, would be nice if we could at least be noticed why reset is so late and when they expect it to be

To answer your question, it's always been protocol to not say anything about reset until it's completely ready- which is a good thing if you reflect on the negative impact it would have on the server. (<- I won't be getting into that right now because that's not really necessary.)
If we're being completely honest, I would personally prefer a reset that took a couple of extra months to come out rather than another 6+ months of the same exact content as the previous 6+ months. Quality > Speed is my personal preference, but I do see and understand why you're eager for reset, but no response that I or any other staff member can give will satisfy you, and there's not much to gain from posting this. There have been countless threads just like this in the past, and they're always met with the same answer: be patient. There's not much else I can tell you.
