Over the last ~2 years we have been struggling to comply with Mojang’s EULA, similar to a number of other large networks. On June 8th 2021, the "Caves & Cliffs" Update: Part 1, was released and this is a large content update that also happens to have measures to fully block servers that are currently in violation of the EULA. Essentially meaning anyone on a version past 1.16.5 is unable to connect to InvadedLands using the typical domains.

This is problematic as we wish to provide support for and venture forward into newer versions of the game however our current circumstances limit that. To address this issue, will be moving towards an EULA-compliant approach for the network. Changes were already made with this goal in mind, some of you are aware of these changes i.e. the removal of "unbans" from our webstore.
As of the date of this post, we will no longer offer payouts for servers such as KitPvP and Skyblock which means they are now considered “casual” gamemodes rather than “competitive”.

Current (June 13th 1:00 PM PST) top 5 island owners & killers on Skyblock and KitPvP will be given their respective prizes specified at the start of the season.

This post will undoubtedly receive negative feedback as we understand the importance of these rewards for competitive players however we don't make the rules and in order to ensure the progression of the network, respecting these rules & guidelines is a necessary step.

I’m a bit confused by this, will 1.17 be added to survival next reset or is the eula stopping this?

Finally people won’t take this as serious anymore

-1 this is something i can understand why you would do this however its kind of dumb that mojang is this weird to do that.

First of all it takes time to grind all of these top 5 rewards and makes the game play to win. NOT pay to win.
Second of all there seems to be no problem with having buycraft you already have a store setup with paypal and like all that stuff idk but yeah anyways mostly the fact that it takes a ton of time and hard work just to grind for a top stats and get a reward which is something you should keep because it not only encourages people to play more it also encourages people who also want some type of in game reward as well. Some people probably grind as well for the in game rewards from /prestige and stuff. Also I am sort of confused, I saw this video

this guy briefly explains about the eula rule "broken" on a different server. Of course this isn't a related yt video to invaded but I am using this video as an example for this "eula" problem.

Around at 1:35 or something he does explain that your not allowed to sell in game items etc. for real world money. YOU DO NOT BREAK THIS RULE!!!!!!! You guys have specifically stated in the rules that you are NOT allowed to sell in game items for irl benefit. Or any type of irl deals
outside of invaded.

3:25 he also says that there's a ton of yt's in the world that have advertised certain servers and have gained some type of money from there monetization and the server if they are practically related in being the owner and gained some money from it as well. Now let me compare that to Skeppy. Skeppy HAS owned invadedlands since like a while now. I have been told that all the money bought from the store all goes to him. Skeppy owns invaded as he said there's nothing wrong with it if he does not claim that he owns it but he does own it.

Right after he talked about how mojang didn't necessarily like this, I have to say that I don't think that invaded is pay to win at all LOL. It's quite easy just to stack up on gear by saving up items etc. Ask irl dealers for a rankup. I've seen players like dioses he was once default then got irl deals all the way up to like overlord or something. And he actually knew how to play the game. Most people just play the game and don't understand the concepts of it and instantly give up thinking its pay to win when really they have no idea how to even play the game.

4:20 mojang makes this update or something explaining its not okay to just sell items and gain money benefit but if there is some time of youtube or video advertisement then sure it can be ok.

They also stated cosmetics are okay to sell which is tags so don't consider removing them in the future which hopefully you do not.

He also explained that if you were to not agree to these rules you guys won't be able to use any newer versions. You said the exact same thing so this is something I can understand and agree on. Also to the thought of removing unbans is something that would be sort of okay mainly because there is a lot of cheaters and they just wanna play again and probably will cheat again and they give you guys money just to play on the server again when there is appeals for a reason and reducing punishments.

Thats the sort of the end of the video that discusses about minecraft's eula unless you are a big fan of 2b2t and wanna watch the rest anyways there is my opinions.

And one more thing, if you don't wanna add it back then I am okay with it but I just want you to read what I said maybe talk to mojang and explain which if you can't then I understand but that's just my opinion's please read them.
