It’s not about saying thanks. What I’m talking about is the racism, sexism, abuse, threats (death+dox), and more that the staff members get for doing the work expected of them by management and the community, and the fact that we get it on a regular basis.

Just because we volunteer our time, doesn’t mean the community can hurl that at us, nor does it mean anyone from the community has any right to expect anything of us outside of our role (which btw nearly all the staff work beyond what the role expects them to in one way or another).

However thank you to the rest of you for the kind messages. Means a lot <3

didn't know ppl who play a block game care about race and sex that's a whole nother low. i do know about the other stuff but i've never seen someone do any of that to a staff member and even if they do i highly doubt it's a lot of people and u could just turn ur dms off but i get where ur coming from

That’s exactly his point from another thing he stated, things go on behind the scenes of being a staff member, especially threats like these. And you cannot turn off dms just because of 1 person.. what if players have questions or if they need help? What about personal friends that you wanna dm? I get there’s a block feature but the point is that this stuff happens

I don’t want to make a whole big deal about this, I’m not one for attention. But after about a year, I have taken the decision to resign from my position as a staff member. No beefs, no conflicts, just moving on in my life. I will of course pop back every now and then, but I can’t keep up the activity that would make me feel that I am keeping my promise to contribute to the community.

I don’t want to make a whole rundown of friends I want to say goodbye to (since that list would be endless, nor am I really saying goodbye), but there are two people, in particular, I want to give a special mention to about my time here.

Lionnco and Zackyyy have become brothers to me. They are among the best people I have ever met online in any setting or community, and anyone who ever doubts their commitment to doing the best for this community has zero idea what they are talking about. We really been through the fire together guys, keep it going for me. Special shoutout to the rest of the staff team as well. These guys are dedicated to helping the server to the best of their abilities even when the server doesn’t repay that generosity. Y’all are amazing!

With everything I did for the server in public and behind closed doors, and with my move to my university drawing ever closer, it just feels like the right time to move on and let the new crop of amazing staff members step up.

So yeah, keep it real Invaded. See ya around.

rip, kinda sucks that you resigned. thanks for helping me with my forums ban back in april, if you didn't i probably wouldn't be here today
