The heck happened?

The heck happened?

Reset doesn't change anything long term though because it's always the same.
It will bring players back for a week or 2 then they get bored.

Until they dedicate time to SB nothing will change, and god knows how long that will be bcs Kit and Surv are in the same boat just no as bad yet

Skyblock is probably the most ignored gamemode at this point frankly. Survival got their cool 1.16 update, Kit is always being changed, but sb is underlooked because it has slightly less players than survival (before server died).

I know it's crazy, just a shame there is little effort to improve it ?‍♂️

It's all good promoting staff on alts to become admins but its not actually changing the server and thats what they acc need

This is a classic example of what every game has - aging.
Basically when you start a new world, new game, or a new server, there is always that first thrill where you start grinding the server and/or just playing on it casually. Over time it starts to get more boring because there is nothing left to do, for example you've completed everything doable there or you don't want to grind it - it isn't that interesting as before. Old Nintendo games, Atari, UFC - all of these started to lose fame because they didn't update and there was nothing so thrilling about it.
Every server has a risk of falling apart. I used to play The Hive MC - my favorite server - which used to have more players than HyPixel in the past. Now it has come to a full closure to every edition except Bedrock because there was not enough players anymore. The same is happening to InvadedLands. People get grown up, they don't have enough time for Minecraft, server starts losing people, others don't have anything to do on the server without friends and at one point the server starts losing more than gaining until coming to a full stop at zero.
I'm not referring to InvadedLands as a falling server. The same happened to Minecraft overall. The updates weren't that interesting and it started losing players at one point. It was like 1.13 or 1.14 update after what the players started stacking back to the game. The same could happen to InvadedLands. If Skeppy would advertise the server does even a bit in his videos the server would start regaining fame and players. Why Skeppy doesn't do it is because he has too many followers at the moment - if he would start streaming on the server it would get overwhelmed and, eventually, crash. Some of us know how weak the server is. I was part of the event where people started rodding in the spawn lobbies of Survival and KitPvP. It ended up crashing both of them. So if we were to bring a thousand people in, it would become more unstable.
It is fixable if Zak would have full concentration on InvadedLands and start upgrading it. As it seems, he has moved on and left InvadedLands in the dust. Lets just hope InvadedLands doesn't get permanently shut down because of the loss of players. It's even hard to believe for me to see IL lose so many players inside the gap of only three-four months. When I come back in 2022, I really hope to see much more players as there is right now but if this continues it will become more unlikely.
Long story short - InvadedLands might be in a fall right now but it might come back if we were to advertise the server. Unfortunately the only way we could do it is via YouTube, Twitch or other online websites as in most of the Minecraft servers it is unethical to advertise other servers. Personally, I think that SkyBlock might not be that easy to bring back but Survival and KitPvP are easier to bring back for sure.

The other day Skyblock was empty. Like, I realize neon has alot going on, with the server being blacklisted and such. But the server needs life support lol #reset
ye i agree with delta this server needs support its not gonna stay up for long if it has a total of 100 people playing at its maximum every day and people quitting daily
