As I am not directly involved in the recent exposure on @InvadedLands, it is not my place, as a former member of the administration, to point fingers and call what is what. All I can say is: As a leader who manages a large community that is also in a position of influencing fans made some misjudgements, the community and their fans deserve some degree of explanation, especially if it is directly (and negatively) affecting the community they manage.
Cheating on someone and betraying someone who is or was emotionally invested in you is simply disgusting. It scars you emotionally, and those wounds are hard to heal. As someone who recently went through a somewhat similar situation, I fully sympathize with those affected.
Lastly, InvadedLands is where I made most of my online friendships, and the server I've made some genuine and solid connection with people; a server full of memories. It is disappointing, and I am disgusted that a person in the position of power within the InvadedLands community made some severe misjudgements. I sincerely hope that the leader in question makes a statement & clarification as they own it to the community, current staff, and former staff that served (or is still serving) and believed in the leaders. Those who were directly involved and affected deserve a proper apology and proper explanation.
You knew better. I looked up to you and respected you.
Do what is right, and own up to your mistakes.
