before i start, let me clarify a few things
i don't want anyone to hate on any of the staff because of this
i also dont want this to bring up a huge controversy or something

if u want background or context, here are the main things u should look at:

for a while now invaded has undoubtedly been dying
theres a point in every game where this happens but with invaded, it can be avoided
so many people stay with invaded because it offers a kitpvp experience that other servers dont, and i wont get into it
but now even with that, no one cares

we've been lied to about updates a countless number of times
and these new updates that we were just told about
are NOTHING SPECIAL
thank you for listening to the community but
as you have acknowledged, invaded has had the same content for ages
so give us new content
nothing you told us about is new content

and btw, since a lot of players have given up on kit
they've turned to duels
thats where all these duel suggestions come from
and the majority of them should be ignored

let me get more into that,
they're small suggestions
things that should be easy to do even with one dev
but considering those small suggestions can't even be done
just focus on more important things

and idk whats worse
the fact were probably not even going to get half of these updates/changes
or that these updates/changes are super small
stop clinging onto invaded to the point you actually think
OMG ALL THIS STUFF IS SO COOL
WHAT? A NEW SPAWN MAP?
like wtf we havent had a new map in 10 months when it should be 6 months or 8 months at the most
all we got is probably one of the worst choices for a old map ever

tbh i was excited for this map again but its just boring after so long

and why is the length of this mini season so sugarcoated? 4 months? wtf?
wtf is a mini season anyway?

and something that no one talks about
the price of ranks
before, and i hate to say this,
the prices were sort of acceptable
invaded was better back then
but the prices now are just bs honestly
its not worth it at all considering how garb invaded is

last time we got an announcement about updates
(which was months ago)
we didnt get anything
so i made some big thread on can we trust that they'll actually update things
and it was kind of neglected
i guess now im right as if it matters
im hanging onto even the forums by a thread
i started getting back into other games

just please actually care and listen to your community
that whole talk about getting devs and advertisements was also bs

its really sad at this point
i dont see any good reason to trust what we've been told NUMEROUS times
and what we've been told isn't even special

zackyyy and kvids are new managers aswell. I’m not excusing them, It just takes time, though I do see where you’re coming from
 
I’m sorry to say, and I really mean no offense by it, but I think that half the time you don’t really know what you’re talking about ?

we just got so much from the staff
and you’re still going to find smth to complain about

this community honestly is almost completely driven by negativity bias
Can’t we just be happy for what we have? Seriously, it just sounds so entitled to make threads like these
 
the staff team know what they're doing bro,
invaded clearly was dying and a manager was demoted, it takes time and re-adjusting to get back to what it used to be,
the prices are fine, people complain about server ping etc and then complain when prices change, the server costs money to host and how do you expect them to get that money,
"we've been lied to about updates a countless number of times" what lies? invaded has two developers and one of them is also developer on multiple servers, how quick do you expect them to develop multiple updates in such a short time??

i expect them to get that money from the owner being a millionaire and the server alone probably making 50k in ranks
i dont think u have any idea what it costs to fund a server like this

they talked about how they had one dev, and all they got was one more

the short time ur referring to is months of time to make simple updates
trust me, it doesn't take that long. i would know

you do know skeppy doesn't really affiliate with the server anymore right?

just the fact that you don’t even know just tells me that you don’t really understand love

first of all,
getting rid of a freeloading manager, who was disrupting the staff team and causing issues, even though that must have been hard for those who were close to him, most likely taking a toll on many peoples mental health.

second,
promoting hard working amazing people that will get the job done, and listen to the community

third,
They’re working on updates, even though they’re limited on devs and builders
As a person who has worked for several Minecraft servers I know how much time, energy, and thought can go into even the simplest things
Working late nights, skipping meals, driving yourself to exhaustion, I know what that’s like, and it’s really not as easy as it looks

fourth,
They’re clearly making an effort to listen to the community and get things back on track, even with the constant backlash

We’re lucky they haven’t given up at this point, though that seems to be what the players want? Even though you’d hate on them even for quitting
no matter how hard they try, you guys are never going to be happy, and that’s what kills me to see
I know invaded has taken a while to get their stuff together, but seriously don’t you have an ounce of empathy?
I see so much entitlement within these threads, and it makes me so incredibly sad to see that staff have to watch their work be spit on because it’s “not enough”

2. that hasn't been proven yet, ofc we can hope that but
saying isn't doing

i genuinely get where ur coming from, i really do, i respect your opinion. but on the other hand, they really haven't done much updates or changes at all. its all talk. thats what my whole pont is. if they actually did these things, even these small things, i'd be like "dang, that's pretty cool." but they haven't

basically all this was is just u telling me how much they've done and people just spit on them for it not being good enough

the only thing that rlly matters abat season resetting is new map and a lil more features but ofc more features are planning to be added like they said lol. im upset about the pv thing is beacuse they did it only for overlord and not all ranks like they coulda updraded like lord - overlord pvs or like made those kids a lil better becuase those are the ones that are more on the pricy side. dont just jump to conclusions rn hopefully they have more stuff planning

I agree with zope, you should go and work for invaded if you know how this works. If you tell me again that you don’t want to work for invaded then you are lying. Stop trying to act like you know how this stuff works.
