If you're not familiar with me, I used to be a very active InvadedLands player back in the years of 2017-2019.
At some point during 2019, I was beginning to point out some flaws InvadedLands had and was very open about them - It was also very obvious I was not very cautious with my words, as can be seen by one of, if not the most popular thread on the forum made by me.
I would like to note that this thread will not be as harsh as my other one, for I have understood I was in the wrong for making myself sound just as bad as the people I was targeting.
The following thread will be focusing on InvadedLands' most recent controversy surrounding Affixes.
I would like to present the point of view of an Outsider (being me) on this case, as well as a detailed explanation on what could have been done better on Affixes's side, especially regarding his thread about it.

The following thread will be focusing on InvadedLands' most recent controversy surrounding Affixes.
I would like to present the point of view of an Outsider (being me) on this case, as well as a detailed explanation on what could have been done better on Affixes's side, especially regarding his thread about it.
A Summary
Before we get into my opinion about this thread, I would like to make a quick summary of what has been happening.
On Tuesday, 5th of October, an announcement has been published under the name "AN UPDATE REGARDING CURRENT EVENTS", with its purpose being to cover the resignation of the majority of the InvadedLands staff team. This thread will not be covering the reason they left. For a detailed explanation of their reasoning, please refer to The Current Situation by LayLim.
In addition to covering said topic, Affixes goes on to mention the promotion of two managers, as well as a forums update (These will be both be important at a later section of the thread).
The following thread will be split into three parts.
The Resignation, the Announcement, and a deeper look into Affixes as a manager.
Part 1: The Resignation
On October 5th, it was officially published by Affixes that a large fraction of the staff team has decided to resign. 2 of them being the most beloved managers on the network.
An entire group teamed up in order to leave the staff team together to prove their point.
The point, obviously, being that they are managed by a horrible third party whom they had only met about a month ago.
In his announcement, he claims the following:
"Internally, we have been working on discussing a variety of problems, which has ultimately led to a disagreement in which some members of the staff team no longer wanted to continue in their positions." - According to the resigned staff members, they had been asking for a reset to occur on KitPvP, following a high demand from the community. In response, Affixes, having disagreed with them, seemed to have given the impression that he was above them in his roles on the server, and therefore should be the one who's opinion matters the most. This already hints at a very toxic relationship between the staff members and Affixes - Being their manager. His response goes out to show there is an inequality between the higher and lower staff ranks, and therefore the ones who have a higher rank have more saying in what should/should not be done for the future of InvadedLands. Not only is this issue not supposed to happen within a team, it should not occur inside of an entire community. Affixes completely rejects the staff team and community's opinion on a highly demanded KitPvP reset, claiming that he knows what's right and fair for the community players. Should we mention he only made an introduction 2 weeks ago?
"This is an unfortunate outcome that many of us wanted to avoid, however ended up being inevitable ..." - It was evitable. Affixes should have had shown an understanding for their side and opinions on KitPvP's future, even if he knew that ultimately it was not able to occur at this time.
From my perspective, this one section goes out to show that all staff members are replaceable in the blink of a finger.
Within 48 hours, 2 managers were already promoted in order to fill up the spot of the two most beloved managers of all time. To me it even sounds like there is not that much care put into the staff team. To me it seems like they are considered a temporary solution for a problem higher-ups cannot bother to deal with by themselves.
Part 2: The Announcement
One of the things that bothered me the most about Affixes's announcement was the lack of information about the resignation - On a thread whose purpose is to cover this topic.
In order to put things into a perspective, The following is a table to better explain my point.

On a thread whose entire purpose is to cover a recent heart-breaking event, only 13% of that thread covers it.
This could mean two things. One being that Affixes seems quite ashamed with his decisions and knows he was in the wrong for being the cause of the resignation of multiple staff members. The other being that it proves my point from earlier, that to me it seems as if staff members are not getting as much attention as they deserve for the work they put into doing what higher ups are too busy to do themselves.
The rest of the thread goes on to talk about recent updated on KitPvP and the Forums - Is it really the place and time for you to do it? Couldn't you hang on for a little longer to it or publish it on a different thread? This is just purely disrespectful, if you had to ask me. To me it seems as if them leaving altogether was a movement to prove a point that has bothered them for days now, and these efforts deserve 13% of a thread made specifically to talk about it. Especially when the other 87% is regular updated who do not deserve a spot on a thread like this.
Part 3: Affixes as an InvadedLands Manager
Part 3a: Horrible Management Skills
The reason for this was stated above numerous times.
To summarize the points I stated above, one of the resigned staff members has decided to leave a reply to @Yuki regarding Affixes's management skills.
Part 3b: Horrible Communication Skills
One of the skills I have found most important about a Minecraft server's manager is their ability to communicate with the community. It provides the community with the knowledge that they are being listened to and that they are able to consider the server's management as someone who is a friend of theirs who is there to listen to their opinions.
Affixes fails at doing so.
He has managed to gather a total of 20 messages inside of the community. 15 of them being on the Forums, 5 of them being on the Discord server. 1 of them being him communicating with a community member, 19 of them being announcement posts.
Part 3c: Horrible Past Management Experience
If you hadn't figured it out yet, Affixes is a third-party management service provider, most likely hired by InvadedLands after MegaPVP's demotion. If InvadedLands had done a bit of a background check, they would have found a thread created on MC-Market (The platform on which he advertises his services) that fully describes his incapability of being a proper manager. This is in addition to a few DDoS attacks claimed to have occurred by past clients of his.

Ending Marks
I have created this thread in order to show my point of view of the recent events as a person who has been moderating for both calm and toxic workplaces before. I am able to differentiate between a manager who is trying their hardest to develop their server into greatness, and a manager who's both power and money hungry.
