Veterans/remembrance day

Although I am not a American citizen, I can't put into words my gratitude and my great respect I have for these individuals that sacrifice their time and efforts in the face of freedom. I'd like to thank those who have fallen and those who are currently still in service, you guys are heroes. It's because of these brave warriors some see the sun, water, food, shelter we all take for granted. And to those who are still serving you will be in my prayers always. Love you lots.

no they didn't have that in 1939 - 1945
Yeah, that is true, but it isn't 1939 and they/them works for everyone now. If you talk about a trans person before they transitioned, you still use their new pronouns.

i dont mean to appear transphobic but i feel like you guys are taking this too seriously it's just 'they' because it's multiple people. it's that simple

Im sorry that your wholsom thread turned into somthing of an argument, but Yes! remember the fallen and we should be proud of what they have done for our country, and others.
It’s okay, thank you for acknowledging the actual post aswell! And to other people that did, screw off if you’re going to argue in a memorial post. Not the place and wasn’t the Time. (Not directed at you saitama)

Stop bringing transgender into a memorial post

We thank your great-grandpa for his service and I hope he lived a fulfilling life may God rest his soul among the greatest men.
Thank you so much, that is so sweet, I wish the best for you <3

Today is Remembrance Day for our fallen soldiers of every branch that fought for our freedoms and rights across the world, It would be amazing to bring light to whoever in your family served, I will go first, This is my great grandpa, who’s name is William Mcbeth lived to 85 and served in the Royal Navy, he served as a stoker and more on the HMS Anthony, a crucial ship to the liberation of Madagascar, defense of the English Channel and dominance in the Mediterranean. Sorry if I'm offending you, and thank you for your great-grandpas service. I am just trying to let people know stuff about this topic that people don't know about. And you're right, this probably isn't the right place to do it. I am very sorry.

theres nothing wrong with transgender though. probably not what you meant but that’s kinda the vibe i’m getting
It's a memorial post, this is for remembering our soldiers that fought for freedom, not lgbtq month.
