Our rules state that any post discussing a player’s punishment will be removed. However given the severity of what you and other in the community claim about this user, and the staffing aspect of this situation, I will leave this ONE post up regarding this situation to prevent more from being created.
This post is not meant to defend this or any player who breaks our rules. This mainly concerns the staffing aspect. Ninety and I already had a private conversation so this post is also mostly for the majority of other players who are discussing this.
If/when player commit any offence that are deemed IA, most of the time there is a procedure to follow in terms of allowing the player to eventually return to the Network. There are cases in which players are not afforded this opportunity, however that is much less of a common occurrence. Now to state the (what should be) obvious, there is no situation in which we would ever remove or modify a punishment of any player to increase our player count. None. No matter the severity, or duration.
For the sake of not leaking information, the only thing I can say is that at the time of this players return process, none of these accusations were known to the majority of the staff team. The player and the staff team followed the steps afforded to every player at a chance for a return to the network. Need I remind the community that the staff steam had been basically replaced at every single position. Very little if any original staffers have held positions through this whole “shuffle”.
However I will say that if people are to accuse someone to be a pedophile, you better be able to substantiate that claim with proof. That is a claim that can very easily destroy people’s lives, and the entire team urges everyone to err caution when accusing people of that.
If you have proof that this is the case, please make a report or contact a higher staff member directly. Making public accusations in which no evidence is provided is not the way to go here (even if you did have evidence, it would be better for everyone to make a report of contact a staff member directly). The reason for that statement being that y his is a sensitive topic that may be a trigger to some people. It’s not an appropriate topic in this medium.
