Hello everyone. I've seen a few people get really mad at InvadedLands staff members for various reasons and get mad about other things, so I'm gonna talk about it in this thread and contradict some of them.
I will not say names in this thread, most likely the people that said these things will recognize themselves. All of what I'm going to talk about comes from what I've seen on these forums and on the discord.
First of all, complaining that "staff don't do anything" will just do nothing. I've seen many people in the discord and on these forums get mad because they got falsely banned/blacklisted, but complaining about it won't do anything either. If people are falsely cb blacklisted, falsely blacklisted or falsely banned for some reason, then they gotta appeal and wait. These people must learn that they won't get everything in life so easily.
Second thing, saying that "staff have no lives and if they are staff here, they should spend all their time on the server". That is completely false. Yes staff members have lives, they are aware people are being false banned and blacklisted but they are not being paid for doing what they do and everyone should be thankful they are here. Staff do care about people being falsely banned/blacklisted ; But do you guys really think a player can prove he did nothing just by saying it? Staff gotta check logs, check what happened before unbanning/unblacklisting someone, and complaining about it won't make the things go faster. If you think staff don't do anything and they are useless, then think so but don't annoy other people with these ideas when it's wrong.
Third thing, saying that "The server is just a mess and it's useless to play on it". I agree a bit on that point, the server does still need improvements, but think about what the server would be if people like Zackyyy didn't do anything : the server wouldn't be unblacklisted by Minecraft and even less players would join and play on the server.
Fourth thing, saying that "the staff team doesn't care about the community and they're just doing it to get money". All of you guys should know staff members are the ones that volunteer their time to the server and that try to listen to the community but they can't do everything at onces. Did you ever think about what staff must think when they see people still complain about the server after everything they do? If staff are staying, it's because they love the server, not that they're being paid for it. They wanna improve it and make it better for players, and some of you are literally saying they're doing nothing. Of course they want to sell ranks, crate keys, commands, etc. Do you really think the servers are free ? They gotta pay the servers, the potential problems, etc.
Fifth thing, complaining about duplication glitches, bug abusers, bow boosting and knockback being messed up. Some of you guys (mostly on the discord) are saying that it still hasn't been fixed yet and that the server is unplayable. Well it's wrong. As Hayech and most of the staff members are saying, they're trying their best to make the server playable again as soon as they can and to fix the bugs, that's why they created a #report-a-bug channel in the discord, so the community can participate to making the server playable soon again.
Last thing, I would like to thank the staff members for being here for the community, I've seen many times the staff members being extremely patient with the players that sometimes get mad and I am impressed of that. Without the staff members, the server wouldn't exist anymore and they're the ones that make this community so great and so nice. So I would like to thank them a lot for what they do : help the community, help the players, volunteer their time to the server, etc. Thank you staff.
