I think all staff should put a FULL STOP on the end when they lock threads. Like if you agree

Locked.

This thread is clearly a joke, I don't understand why people are like so serious about this.

I just said they should put a full stop. That means a period, it's a joke
 
Exactly that was my point in this thread lol.
To be really honest with you, I don't think it's a necessity.
If it is a serious thread, then sure they should respond with correct/appropriate language; If the thread is a joke, or the thread is unserious, then personally, I don't see any issues with playing around with the lock message.

Obviously, this decision is up to the staff that locks the post, and there are not set message to lock a post on the guideline.
