There could be, but last season I came across dozens of them throughout the map.

oh ok bc im going a lot in /wild and every time i do that i find a mineshafts

I don't think it's increased or anything, the map just reset so it would make sense that you're finding more of them

ahh I don’t want to post farm but yes, appeal is escalated so it should be around like a few days or a couple weeks

I don't think they were increased, mineshafts weren't the hardest things to find.
