Its freaking huge and is killing my frames.

Theres like a million pearl spaces to escape from people.

Lootdrops spawn on buildings which are bascially impossible to get too.

The sewer system has so many dead ends its impossible to escape if u fall in.

You can easily bowboost onto a highway and just bow people off

turn ur render distance down

and kinda sad that ur still addicted to invaded

but theres always flaws in the maps so idk why ur crying abt it, + they said that it might be changed but later in the season so this thread is pointless

U can pearl on buildings to escape, but if u dont carry a pearl and get knocked into sewers it's impossible to get out when there's 5 skeppys behind u. Pointless to defend the map when u don't even pvp.
I did not defend anything, the concerns are valid, I just thought it was funny OP complained about both ease of escape and difficulty to escape in the same thread.
I do actually pvp some on my alt account, but obviously I only ever pvp alone so I don't get the whole teamfight experience. In my humble fellow opinion, the map is not that bad, and has many similar issues that previous maps had. I have used the permissions i have to make *some* changes to the map, but obviously I am not in power to do much else. I added fence carpets to the highway ramps to make them easier to climb up quickly. I also added some extra small exits to the sewers. My recommendation to you (and anyone else) is just to stock up on pearls. If the map facilitates pearls, it will drive the price of them up with higher demand. Be prepared for your opponents to pearl and try to keep that in mind when going after high value targets. It is healthy to have some differences between seasons.
Thats just my take tho, wether the map is good or not is subjective, and even if it wasn't, the map will not be completely changed any time soon. I will do what I can to ask for some fixes to some of the presented issues but no guaruntees.

Minecraft has this lovely option in video settings called "Render Distance".

So... Do you want to be able to escape from people or not?

Lootdrops spawn on buildings which are bascially impossible to get too.
Ender pearls, bow boosting, parkour

You can easily bowboost onto a highway and just bow people off
The problem with this is...? If you don't want projectiles/fall damage being part of your pvp experience, just don't use the highways. Not everything on the map is made to cater to your specific preferences in pvp.

To everyone else who has been complaining about the map:

You guys complain about every single new map that comes out, yet use them as the basis for a "good map" the second the next one is released. You hated the last map, and the one before that, and the one before that. You will get used to this one and then get mad when it's inevitably changed at a later reset, just like every time before this.

It's normal to dislike change, but you have to accept that that's what it is — opposition to change. Not an issue with the map itself.

It's also okay to dislike the map; personal preferences are normal. However, your personal opinion is not grounds to demand an entirely new map that meets your specific standards and preferences.

Ok fair enough. The pearl prices won't rise up tho thanks to carding that still isn't stopped. Also i got a suggestion to get new head builder for kitpvp, i guess Luke can be head builder for skyblock and survival (a myth at this point) and /hub but he doesn't know how to build pvp maps so he should be changed.

Luke did not build this main kitpvp map, nor did any of the invadedlands builders

And theres still lovely feature where someone bow boosts away.
So... Do you want to be able to escape from people or not?
I already explained this before.
Ender pearls, bow boosting, parkour
Unfair for newer players since by the time u parkour there people with pearls already looted it.

Idk if ur understanding that people run away when u chase them?

This map, last map and the one with the big holes all sucked.

You don't need to see the entire map to see people bowboosting?? I'm genuinely confused as to how that correlates to the map size.

I already explained this before.
Your explanation was more or less "buildings bad bc u can pearl on them. sewers bad bc u cant pearl out of them."
Your issue in this specific concern isn't with the map, it's with the use of enderpearls.

Unfair for newer players since by the time u parkour there people with pearls already looted it.
You know what's also unfair for newer players? People sitting at mid in full diamond gear grinding irons — yet anyone who complains about that is immediately mocked. You don't care about new players, you care about finding reasons to hate the map.

Idk if ur understanding that people run away when u chase them?
Obviously people will run away, but if you hate the highways that much you don't have to follow people onto them. You can easily just get gear killing people who don't run onto the highways.

This map, last map and the one with the big holes all sucked.
Again, this is your personal preference. We aren't going to have the build team make a whole new map because you happen to dislike this one. That's an incredibly entitled mindset.

I'm headed back to work so I'll respond to any future concerns later tonight 👍

By the time the map doesn't lag using lower render distance u can't even see people who bow away using a 3x bow boost.

No, building r bad cuz u can pearl but sewers are bad cuz u can't get out of them when there's an entire clan chasing u.

No? I dislike the iron grinders and i fully agree with AgentPandas post and i never mocked them lol. I do care about newer people and that's why i never kill random irons.
Obviously people will run away, but if you hate the highways that much you don't have to follow people onto them. You can easily just get gear killing people who don't run onto the highways.
Most people do run on them which is the problem...
Again, this is your personal preference. We aren't going to have the build team make a whole new map because you happen to dislike this one. That's an incredibly entitled mindset.
So wait. If the entire community doesn't want something it doesn't matter even tho they r the ones playing? Funny how u think like that ngl but expected as the sb still sucks.

Don't get me wrong, the map looks great, but honestly it really could use some work. I've been fine with the recent maps but this one is too much. I feel like the maps now are starting to get overloaded with random designs that are not even built for kitpvp. Now obviously you need them to make the map better, but all these different locations that you can get to are a bit annoying. Especially since people will pearl or bow spam you. All I'm asking for, and the community, is to make the map more pvp based instead of hide and seek until your combat timer is gone. (No hate towards any builders or staff, I am just trying to state my opinion)

I like the map, only 1 suggestion

Fix the random holes, I feel into a hole that led to the void. I personally disagree that their should be a way to go into the void.

These are all fair points. That's on me for not looking at things from your perspective, and I apologize if I came off as rude or dismissive in my earlier messages.

No, building r bad cuz u can pearl but sewers are bad cuz u can't get out of them when there's an entire clan chasing u.
I still don't understand this. What is the difference between these situations? In both buildings & sewers, you either pearl to escape or don't pearl to escape. Why do you not want to be able to escape on buildings, but want to be able to escape in the sewers? (Genuine question - I think I'm missing something here so clarification would be nice haha)

So wait. If the entire community doesn't want something it doesn't matter even tho they r the ones playing? Funny how u think like that ngl but expected as the sb still sucks.
It's not the entire community. A lot of people actually like the map, as they've said in the in-game chat, in the discord, and on the forums, but you aren't going to see that as often because people are more inclined to talk about their complaints & criticisms as opposed to the things they like. This doesn't just apply here, either - in pretty much every situation both online and in real life, people are much more vocal about their negative feelings/opinions than they are their positive ones.
