Not really , influenza or the flu kills 100,000s people each year whilst Corona virus has only killed a few hundred. Its still alot but hardly anything at all when comparing to common diseases that u likely have had in your lifetime.
 
Likely from the sun closest to us reaching the end of its lifetime. Sure, there are many things that could cause humans to go extinct- for example, climate crisis, the yellowstone supervolcano, plague, war, etc. but the world will still live after humans.
