/skin problem

alright so,when i do /skin it doesn't come with the cape, i still got my optifine cape (i mean there mojang cape) and when i turn off optifine capes there is no cape then on the player, help/

My assumption is that you should not be using optifine in order for special capes to show.

There is no fix for this i believe , except one which would be to disable your cape or move to another account but that would not be worth it.

I kind of had it the opposite way, I don't even have a cape but when I do /skin it gives me a cape for some reason.
I can't see it though but other people can.

That is normal, you get the cape of the user that you have used as your /skin

Yeah but if i change to another skin and then go back to mine it stays there, it's not a bad thing for me though cuz I get a free cape aha.
