Let’s talk about the corona virus

It's kind of died down in the media lately, or it has locally for me, I'm not worried about it tbh though.
Stay calm and wash hands. Don’t go into crowds if it’s not necessary.
The corona virus is killing off a population that faces mass overcrowding. The Corona virus is effecting people who are already ill and has not actually killed anybody directly. If something wont stop the growing population of china that adds to global warming and the destruction of the planet that we inhabit then what will? The flu kills 20,000 in the u.k every year alone, Corona virus has not killed any in the u.k yet. It will spread and is but is being dramatically overstated by the media.

The flu kills like 61k throughout the world in it's season. My opinion is that the media is overstating the virus a bit.
I'm scared af there was a case in my state and now recently there's been a lot more cases reported and to top it all off a lot of my classmates (including me) have been getting sick and this usually isn't flu season :/
I really hope you are ok, and your classmates. I know this can be really freaking scary but stay strong, we'll be behind you. Please let us know when you recover

The coronavirus is actually a type of virus, not a new plague or illness. Coronaviruses are not new and this latest one (which actually began popping up back in 2019) is basically just an evolved version of the flu. It isn't anything super serious unless you have a weak immune system or can't access basic healthcare. The misinformation on social media has caused a mild panic, but that's the worst effect it's had so far.
One thing that I think about this virus is you should be in a bunker. And also I feel sick so I might have coronavirus. So yeah those are my thoughts on the coronavirus. P.S. I hope I will not die.
