Let’s go over a few things management!

You had over 300 days to look at the nearly 100+ suggestions. Congratulations on a two paragraph update to survival! Incredible! You get a sticker! While @Fabelz and @Blurmit were abusing all day, you guys were hard at work cooking for a version shift. Same thing, just a version shift. @TehNeon's legacy is down the drain. Let's put a grave in the new spawn!

Forums are backed up by nearly a month. Staff members who actually manage the server get neglected. It took you nearly a year to promote @Neptune. So cool! Then you wipe a random and give them trainee with no communication whatsoever to the community. Who the hell are you hiring? Genuine question. You have so many good options with active members, yet you choose the least sensible ones. Your last few trainees got demoted for an array of issues! It seems like we don’t learn from our mistakes. Each new Trainee I see, I actually like @MegaCloud a little more.

The blatant neglect of the player base is so sweet. While your community is growing, staff members hide in vanish, you give us filler updates, OOO! A NEW SPAWN HALLELUJAH!!!! Grab a crate while ur at it. We want active management. We want to feel like the staff actually care, and we are tired of being gaslit by the entire staff team. The deflection whenever someone points a valid finger at a staff member says a lot. The staff applications have a section for a response to criticism, how on earth did you all get past that one. The update is proof that the effort isn't there, and the respect for every player isn't there either. To be so honest, everyone who complains about their forum posts not being responded to are valid. Each time a staff member says, “Be patient,” a little bit of self reflection would be nice. You should all be embarrassed when a person complaining about not being responded to for a literal year goes on forums for help. Each time I had a player report, it would sit for months, and eventually I would have to get a staff member in vanish to pay attention to it. This system is so messed up for an array of reasons.

The politics at this point are laughable. @Hayech, I see how active you are in staff chat. Give us a little taste! Let us know what’s going on! Put that same effort into being a character in a @Skeppy vid you do into the server you’re doing it on. People actually play you know, instead of giving attention to repeat hackers, give attention to the people who make this server possible. @LukeLovesCandy, stop neglecting your staff team. Pull your sh*t together and make it functional. @Mega, come back into the light. Controversy aside, the golden years of invaded are all thanks to you and @TehNeon. Take that spark back please.

I’ve been playing this server since 2019. Things never change, things never will change unless you communicate amongst yourselves, and amongst the community. If you don’t, congratulations. You’re gonna have a repeat of the past few years.

But hey, I’ve only been here for half a decade. At least we get a new spawn!! Wow!!!!

WOW A NEW SPAWN!
THATS SO COOOOOOOOL

AND HIRING A TRAINEE WHO NO ONE KNOWS.....oOoH MyStEriOuS

props to the staff who treat the community with the respect it deserves. I get this is a "voluntary" position for those who apparently are held to the highest standards of respect.... but cmon guys.. we need more than the select few who actually try to make the server better.

Im pretty sure we all realize the fact that @Skeppy is just a mascot at this point. we need an owner.
Weird to say, but instead of using the community as content. why not connect with them once in awhile instead of doing unscheduled events for the sake of your income.

It shouldn't always be "record record" it should be,
"I care about the server and the community I created almost a decade ago."

EDIT: This is not meant to be directed at any particular staff besides the two mentioned in this post and the next. I can only halfly understand what staff teams tend to go through from previous experiences on much, much smaller servers. This is a gripe more than it is a bitch fest without cause. I care about this community quite a bit, and I feel like it's important to communicate issues even if it's to thin air. I wish the staff team better luck and, hopefully, new hires to help with the load.

To single out the whole @Mega situation; i don't like how the whole thing was handled. Far be it for me to tell people how to communicate, but MegaPVP is a big spark in this server - someone who many recognized (before everything) as the witty manager in Skeppy's video. To have him removed suddenly and then re-introduced without any sort of public explanation while most fans still think he's some weirdo damages the already diminishing player base. it's unfair to both Mega and the members like Neptune who are actively trying to help or work with the server.

For @Neptune ; I'm sorry it took so long for someone as good as you to be promoted. Absolutely ridiculous and outlandish imo.

Many appreciate what you've done for the server and look forward to what you'll continue to do. I hope you get fairer promotion times in the future.

First of all, I just want to say I 100% agree with you and thank you for speaking up about these problems.

This upcoming reset is a joke. There are TONS of things players have suggested in the past few months that could be added yet all we get is a version upgrade and a new spawn.

It seems the hope in this server died long ago, under the current staff team invadedlands will never improve. Why do the staff have spend so much time trolling the server and screwing over players with the unnecessary /kill alls, rollbacks, and chat mutes/floods when there's so many things survival players need help with or want done? Can we get help for the players who beg in chat for staff assistance, responses to player reports and purchase assistance, or responses to our suggestions? I do want to thank the minority of staff who consistently attempt to help players.

My main gripe is the random changes that happen in the middle of the season. is it so hard to give us notice before nerfing our farms? If anything, can the updates wait until reset so these farms create don't become redundant overnight?

We don't just need an owner, we need developers and managers who care for the server and work with the players who make the server possible.

PREACH MR DEFAULT PREACH

Much respect to the work the staff team has done.
Not everything they’ve done is worthy of being shit on.
They all have their roles in the server that they’ve dedicated a portion of their lives when they didn’t have too.
I just feel like the server is crumbling and not much is being done to save it from a players perspective.
I very much doubt this will even be addressed by staff members regardless

I'd like to say I agree with every single point of this thread. The constant no communication whatsoever with the players, the updates no one asked for without just the tiniest heads up like the nerfing of iron golem farms or blaze farms where they no longer stacked by 15k but by 30k which made it a pain for some of my friends to change the way they used ig farms, the /kill-alls which made some of my fellow players lose a lot of important things (especially thinking about @LexLovesBees which is the skulls/heads collectionner this season, who did just like I did with my 500-skulls collection a few seasons ago and put them in item frames and therefore sadly lost a good chunk of them to a /kill-all), the constant reboots, etc. I do feel like a lot of my fellow players that the staff team (other than a few members like Neptune) does not care about the server anymore. I did just see a few mins ago that there was a new trainee which I had never heard of and which apparently joined the forums on the day they became a staff member, which really is weird considering one of the requirements for becoming a staff member is to be an active part of the community. Not to mention it almost (again) took the staff team almost a full year to finally reset, which had already happened in season 5 or 6 I believe where it lasted a year or more.

Furthermore, I am baffled (like a lot of other survival players I believe) by the lack of new features announced for this upcoming reset. Like dramaboygamer has mentioned, there were hundreds of suggestions made by players on forums and in-game (Fabelz even asked for suggestions himself in-game), yet there is nothing to look forward to, there is just a version change, a new spawn and that is it. Really invadedlands? Is that all you've got to offer? After almost a full year of people giving suggestions and now that Skeppy's come back to make videos on the server and invadedlands might finally have another rise, you're just giving us nothing ??

The lack of care of current staff members (and mostly managers) is absolutely flabbergasting. Reports and appeals are sometimes looked at by dozens of people but some players wait a year, A WHOLE YEAR to get an answer which really puts into perspective how far invadedlands has fallen. Not to mention that when some players then (legitimately) complain that staff members are taking too much time, they are just told to "Be patient" or there is absolutely no response whatsoever. I haven't even seen staff applications open for a number of months.

I have quit a number of times and come back because I wanted to see what was new on this server and see some old friends but I do believe this time I will probably never play ever again on this server given how little care and effort the current staff team seems to put into the server.

I also agree that the staff don't manage the server as much as they should be. It seems like they just don't moderate the server more often then they used to be. Also to add something, I reported a bug that was found in kitpvp (Not survival but I think I should add) and I directly messaged 3 staff members and they told me its gonna be fixed but it actually took 2 and half of whole seasons to be patched even after 3 moderators told me they told the higher staff members about the bug to be patched. As a result, this made me think that the staff team (No hate on moderators like xoxoNeptune, Redot, and other moderators) have a hard time communicating with the playerbase and even their own staff team for something to be done.

2017 player here. I can pretty much agree that the golden age of invaded was around when skeppy became popular and then when Neon came it really flourished. Now it just seems like the server doesn't even really have a direction or that uniqueness anymore. And it wasn't just Mega who made the server special, it was also Zelkam, who Idk what happened with him but I'll assume he's living his best life right now and no longer cares or plays minecraft.

KitPvP was my main gamemode and now it's almost completely dead. Skyblock is dead so only survival remains. It's actually insane how an event server where there's just anarchy manages to have more gameplay and enjoyability than KitPvP when KitPvP was literally the gamemode that started this whole server and has consistently been so popular that they even had to release a KitPvP v2 just to be able to keep up with player demands.

The politics at this point are laughable. @Hayech, I see how active you are in staff chat. Give us a little taste! Let us know what’s going on! The fact he shows 0 care for the server, but so much care for the vids is concerning. Its almost like he just wants to be famous now, instead of being known as a great manager. Appeals takes forever, just to get hit with a "Denied". What's the reason for the deny? Not even mentioned!

If you take a look at the previous survival update from a year ago, there were virtually no changes, just a version shift with shop modernization. @LukeLovesCandy where are the new features? THIS ANNOUNCEMENT should be the standard. @Fabelz are we ever getting this in the future? It's sad to me. That's all. I was scrolling through reset announcements and found this kit reset post. it's valid to point out that this is what the narrative used to be. What happened? Why do we have forums if management isn't going to listen to us?
Invaded has a bright future ahead of it. We've had a history of not providing frequent game updates, and we're hoping to rectify that.

Our goal is to provide you with more fun and interesting game updates, which is why we'd love to hear your suggestions so that the KitPvP server can become exactly what you want it to be.

Of course, we've seen all of your recent suggestions, and we'll pay attention to them all and provide further updates more often.
