i been here for like 10 minutes and I die 2 times one with op loot, the fact that they do loot drops but don't have keep inventory on and make it so easy to die is just bad. i don't know if I will be playing this year.

Hello, you can always use the vaults to your advantage and collect all the items and put them there, You can use the command /pv 1 to access your vault

Kitpvp servers aren't meant to have keep inventory on, if you just joined and got the op loot, you probably got targeted as people saw you as a free kill due to you being a new player.
As a tip from an experienced player, You should always have at least 1 notch apple and op armor and you shouldn't go to the loot drops as the pro players usually get there first with pearls or tridents, it is better if you wait and get the left over loot, trust me.
