Basically someone by the name of Mayo_Prince wanted to trade me a shulker box full of netherite for 1 billion and so i /traded him. He said that his game was "Glitching" and said that if i /pay him hed just drop it. sure enough he just logged out and i see him active in server but everytime i msg him he alwasy makes excuse. Please help the scamming problems are becoming massive for newer players
(like myself and other new members ive talked to) its very frusturating especially since we arent as familiar with how the server works. just so you all dont think im lying about being a new member, i got billion gambling and sold dragon eggs. I just really want to see him punished and get some of my money back. thank you

I scammed Mayo_prince yesterday after he tried to scam me so. Hopefully that brings you a bit of joy lol

I understand the motive behind scamming them back, but in the case that what you did were to fall in the rule-breaking category, you could end up getting punished.

Just be more careful in the future and refrain from scamming.

Scamming is allowed for in-game items per the rules. So long as someone didn't suffer an IRL loss (like real money) It's fine.

yeah u just dumb my guy

Personally my thoughts on this is that scamming of any kind should be disallowed on the server, but at the same time with how little staff there are to begin with, moderating that would be rather difficult, lot of stuff to keep track of to find out whether or not a scam actually took place (unless it is just obvious). I can kind of understand why it isn't fully against the rules to not overwhelm the little staff there is, but if the server does get more staff in the near future, I think this is something they should consider at the least.

Though as of right now, the best thing you can do is be careful with how you make trades with and who you give your items to, just be mindful really.
