Yes, I know about player council.

We are now in the third season of Survival, and players are still easily able to harass each-other with zero repercussions. I understand that neon has other duties, but I haven't seen any information about commands like this being added despite it being in high demand from the community. In skyblock, you can kick people from your island. Why not be able to do this in survival with your claims?

Adding a command to send people to spawn if they are in your claim would solve almost every single issue concerning harassment on the survival server. This would not only make the player experience more enjoyable, but it would also free up staff's time as they wouldn't have players constantly messaging them about harassment when staff can't do anything about it except tell the players to try and ignore it.

I believe this would be a simple fix to an ongoing problem on survival. Please let me know your thoughts below.

@TehNeon @Mega if you see this, please consider adding some kind of feature like this to the survival server.

With all of the drama going on largely with player claims, suggestions for more claim commands in the council, and forum posts being made about these kinds of things, I’m sure they’ve acknowledged there needs to be some kind of improvement.

Similar to how biome changes were added due to everyone asking for them on the world generation poll, I’m willing to bet they’ll release something in the coming weeks. Of course we all want it/need it now, but I think we all can agree something that can’t be abused would be better in the long run, than something added in 30 minutes that could create more problems.

I think if it just sent them to the edge of your claims nearest to them that would be better then sending them to spawn

If it doesnt entirely rid them from the area or prevent them from re-entering your claim, it really serves no purpose. I just realized this too, but /back currently works. If they were to make this a feature, they’d have to modify how it works. Being able to whitelist a claim could be cool too, but would be abused by griefers for sure.

This would be a good command to have in the game, the survival toxicity is only increasing and this would be an effective method to decrease this

Wait IL doesn't have a claim blacklist command, wow ok. I think they should just have that, where they can't even enter your claims at all

This doesn't seem like a bad idea and would probs be very beneficial for some. However, it might be a little hard to implement

Like I stated in an earlier thread, they will not implement this because it would only create more issues and would be heavily abusable. For example, two trolling methods I have already thought of that players would abuse would be claiming completely around a player's claim, then claim kicking them anytime they stepped out of their claim, thus being permanently trapped in their claim. Another way this would be abused would be tp trapping. Players could tp players into a claim where they are not allowed, thus creating glitches and more complex tp traps. As much as I would like to be able to kick annoying kids from my claim, this would be way too abusable and would only create more problems for staff and players.

You actually state some fairly good points.

Your second reason wouldn't happen if people were send to spawn.
If someone was willing enough to claim all around your claim then they would also be willing enough to build a wall on the border of their claims resulting in the same thing that you describe happening (not able to leave their claims). So I don't think this is a valid enough reason for it to not be a thing.
Building a wall takes way more effort than simply claiming around a claim especially if you have thousands of claim blocks and the claim is small. Also a /claimkick command would have to be manual. All I'm saying is that if this was added, there would be the same amount of complaining, command abuse, and overall toxicity.

IDK why, but for some reason, I feel like this has already been suggested to the council. I believe I saw it in voting at one point. but I'm not sure.

@AgentPanda_ thought of a /through command to get through claims you may be banned in. Players already claim around other's to prevent them from claiming more, so I feel like this would eliminate a lot of problems that may arise. Along with either forcing players to spawn or /wild when kicking them from a claim.

i agree with this, dont let them in at all. If you want them to be able to come back in just unban them and yeah gg
And a lot of other survival, towny, and role play servers have a claim blacklist command because you're going to get that annoying player, and you feel useless because you can't do anything

Being able to kick from claims is to easily abuseable, like it's not hard to understand. There's a reason why this hasn't been added, and a reason why this is different then kicking people from your skyblock. That's a whole different server, and it works differently there. ON surival, a command like this would get abused.

/claimkick would be a much simpler cmd, and i don't see the issue with this although it SHOULD have a cooldown, but i am pretty positive this has already been suggested to the council. i would double check, but i no longer have access to the suggestion logs.

Yeah I'm not too focused on the actual command name itself haha, more just the concept of a command that would remove someone from your claim.
