When is IL Bedwars releasing?

Was curious and decided to finally watch a skeppy video for the first time in like 4 years, noticed he was playing Bedwars on invaded, when's it coming out? Will it be available for version 1.8.9? Or better yet, 1.7?

For those who are unfamiliar with what I'm talking about, here are some attached screenshots from the aforementioned video:

It's in prototype games I believe, just click the compass and you will find it.
