Shalom, I started playing this server when it was still in 1.8. I was a non back then and a small small child. I had just gotten my account passed down from my much older cousins and I have been playing on it since but I came up with the name CryptoMinor. My first experience of Invaded was great. I started on survival and found an unclaimed rich base and i kind of hung out on my own during that season.
My 2nd survival era was better. I got money from /achievements and it counted since inflation wasn't so high back then and people actually played to have fun. I built this giant base inspired from an SCP Facility. I was very into SCP videos back then oh my days... I trapped withers in this box and called players to see if they could survive my wither box. The rules were that they couldn't ue armor nor could they use any weapons. Some sneaky players snuck in swords so I always made them toggle pvp upon entry into my box. But one day this guy with a skeppy snack bar skin told me he could improve my wither box and he did, right after that he blew up my base which I spent a very long time on. I had no fly and built it all by myself as a non. In the end it didn't matter because I had my fun.
I started again the season after that ad built another wither box but this time it was a port-like seaside arena. I made people pay to fight the withers and it was a hit! Many players form all ranks came and fought my withers. Those days were fun and I had been gifted my immortal rank so I was feeling quite alright!
Then came the next season and I did the same thing but htis time it wasn't a hit. There were players who ERP'd openly in chat and it was freaking weird man like we get muted for not spamming these days and back then the chat rules were NOT enforced at all. The disease of that era was blacklisting. People charged back their enemies and had them perma banned left and right. Thankfully I hadn't made any enemies back in those days (I wasn't a menace back then, just a chill kid who liked minecraft and skeppy). I came back last season to play but it was short, I played for maybe a week. But this season I really popped off.
I gained a lot of money by killing people early into the season. i started with just a netherite kit which I mined and forged myself. Had my first mace after this one kill and that changed everything. Bodies were piling up and I was on top. I was bored after some time though so I gave away everything I owned and left until I made my return a month later. I repeated the same process but this time I knew what I was doing. I set up my base as an "arena" and hosted pvp events. Little did people know no matter how many people they beat they had to beat me last and I had keep inventory on since it was my claim therefore had nothing to lose. Elytras weren't so expensive so people carried them into the events and I had a lot of it. Sold many for 1b after the prices rasied (even then, they were going for 300m but there were always suckers ready to spend money on a precious elytra). I made my first billie that way.
I started getting more aggressive after I had no space in my inventory for maces and kits so I expanded my base, made a special little room for my stuff and turned it into a crystal pvp arena (again, only I could place crystals). This went on for a long time. I hosted lots of drop parties and made many nons happy. You could say I was a duke of some sort.
Then I started causing damage for REAL. Started stealing IG's, blowing up bases, and other non disclosed harmful activities. Got banned once for messing with a guy's farm and another time when DiamondGirl reported me for killing her guardian and destroying a 10k block long railway leading to her monument (she had refused to purchase my guardian 2 weeks ago because my reputation was at it's lowest and I had no supporters but I wasn't going to scam her because she was a good sport yet she didn't trust me so this was my petty payback + she left an open entrance so I entered the monument without glitching). I waited out my first ban and dug my way out on the second. After which she quit the server forever because the mods refused to respawn her guardians and she was a big glazer of the mods so I guess the saying "never meet your heroes" was true after all.
I always watched over chat for any potential scam opportunities and I had found a great one, MrQuetzalCoatlus was hiring people for an IGF build job. I volunteered and they (maybe she? idk) told me to copy another base and complete the quarter which they hadn't finished. They gave me trust and logged off. I quickly brewed some invis potions and got to work (there was an afk account in the middle of the farm and I wasn't sure if they were watching. They had mesed up the sign protections because I assume they used functions (AutoBuild) which were not allowed on Invaded (they even copied random joke signs 1:1). I got to work and stole all the spawners I could which weren't protected by signs (I stole 6.5k spawners nad the protected were I think 10 stacks?). I secured the spawnersin my player vaults and thought to myself what would be the finishing touch and I instantly knew to blow that place up. I blew it up, mined out all the crafter redstone with my shulker pick and left it a giant mess. It was fun. Anwyays I'm still selling them in my base ( /pw redemption) idk if they're out of stock, haven't logged on in a couple days. After all this I joined the /pw ebooks team and I retired from being a menace and am currently managing the breeze rod chest in /pw ebooks. It is a peaceful environment and has a good owner who trusted me unlike DiamondGirl. Now they have my everlasting protection from any and all threats and I have made friends with the rest of the staff of the warp.
In the end it all works out guys, you just gotta work for your dream and be disciplined. But always remember to have fun and make real friendships because without them there is no fun in this block game. Keep yourselves safe and Goodbwye!
