They are now deprecating the IntelliCode extension on Visual Studio Code and now they want us to migrate to GitHub Copilot but wait, it needs a GitHub account which requires 2FA authentication. 2FA authentication providers requires a device on the initializer and that specific device is mostly phones.

Phones are used for messaging and calling people using antenna towers for cellular data and the phone has to have an activated cellular provider, like T-Mobile and AT&T. Phones usually cost 250-400$ for the cheapest price and to have a provider plan, it'll cost 15-35$ with bad performance and limited data.

Paying requires a credit card and I don't have a credit card, I only have money and most stores do credit card only (except for Walmart) and I only have cash but not enough. Which means I cannot get a phone for 2FA authentication which means I cannot keep a GitHub account which means that when Visual Studio Code automatically updates (I don't know how to turn it off) will mean my only source of artificial assistance will be gone soon if they decide to make an non-editable setting to automatically migrate extensions.
