the event announcements flooding the chat was pretty annoying, so i made a mod to toggle mute them!

here's the modrinth page for it and here's the source code for it on github!
the modrinth page is still under review so, if it's not working, just download it from the github releases page. currently it's only compatible with 1.21.11 but, upon request, i'll port it to other versions <3

the mod is automatically on when you join, and there is no default keybind set, you have to go into settings and set a key for you to toggle it with

this mod and myself are not officially affiliated with invadedlands, this is just a personal project i started working on because of how floody the events were.

holy actually goated thing even when u do /tgc it still goes thru invaded should make a setting to turn it off

yeahhh but many people have made the suggestion to developers and they havent responded so, i just went ahead and made my own solution.

i hope that, in the future, they make a way to turn off event announcements officially.

i guess you can use that, i didnt really know that existed.

i dont really like how it looks though, and it would seem faster to just use my mod, which comes preconfigured to hide specifically invadedlands' event announcements instead of trying to find ways to filter it yourself on another mod that could conflict with other mods you have, like chat patches (which i use).

to each their own.
