Earlier today someone on abi_jr's island asked if someone could help them build an ig killer. I agreed to help for pay. After 30 minutes of building we were about 90% done, when they began spamming in chat "HE TOOK THE SPAWNERS" and that kind of stuff. Yet the whole time I was at the ig spawner working. So I was banned from the island with no pay for my work.

What scam, I think you should download OBS and get ready to record everything. This is not a rule breaker btw
It is risky doing work like that which is why I usually do it for free or for people I know (which I usually do free anyway). It can be annoying though especially since you spent so much time on it. Just remember to be careful in the future.
I'm assuming you did not record this? Because if not there is nothing to proof really, they have full right to ban you from their island whatsoever

Scamming is only punishable if IRL money is lost in a trade; furthermore, this unfortunately means you will not be able to receive your "payment" this play agreed upon. Make sure to be careful with who you trade with so you can better protect yourself from situations like these.
I’ll give you like 100k when I’m home, most people won’t do that though so just try not to fall for these in the future.
