Hey! So, I'm in year 10 of secondary school (obviously) and do an english exam in a couple of months and decided that now, whilst I have only 1 exam to worry about, would be a good time to start thinking about what i'll do after year 11.

I've always wanted to be a police officer, never wanted anything else and I'm part of the police cadets so that won't change any time soon. Up until a couple of weeks ago I always gathered I would go to my schools 6th form but realised I could go to college.

I'm faced with a dilemma, do I stay at my school during 6th form and have to study a minumum of 2 a-levels (one would be public services which doesn't 100% run) or do I go to college, study just public services (which will 100% run) so I can focus on that more before applying for the police when i'm 18... any input at all is appreciated <3

might care if I juts knew who you were? december 2019 newgen smh, gtfo the forums and get a higher cps than 10
 
I think college would be the better option. (What I'd pick). Just for 100%, and I think you'd be more likely to get in as and 18yr old rather than younger. Never rlly looked into this stuff, thought I'd just share my opinion. :)

You've said the same thing on multiple threads, you on thursday, my cps has nothing to do with this, if you can't give anything constructive to the community, don't at all.

That's what I was thinking, I go to college when I leave year 11 (i'll be about 16-17 ish) finish my a-level in public services and then submit an application for the police when i'm 18, when training around here you get paid as soon as you start your training.

I don't post here for comedic reasons, I'm serious about the work I do to this community and honestly feel my work here is underappreciated. Maybe that will change when my big project (the exposing thread(coming in the following days!)) comes out...

At this rate, you'll hopefully be banned. Plus you're naive if you're genuinely being serious about "not posting here for comedic reasons"
 
I hope you figure out what you want to do soon :)

If I were you I'd go to college! There are so many opportunities you can discover there! Make sure you do everything you can to become a police officer! Chase your dreams!

I just happen to not care about your opinion nor does anyone else. stop posting if you're not going to contribute to this community in a positive manner.

If you want the staff to take note of your ideas, I suggest acting more responsible and not leaving rude, unhelpful comments on threads. If you wish to be noticed then I recommend being kinder, and ignoring threads you want to post rude comments on.

Appreciated! Maybe i'll post another forums thread (or reply here) when i make a definite decision

I'd say the same thing to you. Saying things like "stay mad LLLL" is NOT a positive matter. Your advice is therefore hypocritical.
