I play on a Lenovo laptop and i play with Labymod with optifine and keystrokes,i have installed a texture pack where it says it could reduce lag, and that results in about 40 FPS average,I have hit above 100 FPS before but i can make minecraft not responds just from smashing a few keys while hopping from server to server, Does anyone have any suggestions on how to increase my FPS? Thanks

You can use these following tips, that can improve FPS:
- Turn down your render distance.
- Set graphics from Fancy to Fast.
- Turn off smooth lighting and clouds.
- Set particles to minimal.
- Also note, close any programs in the background and close any internet browsers.
- Allocate more RAM to minecraft (Usually allocate half of total RAM on your pc)

You could look up a tutorial on youtube on how to boost your fps it will involve changing a lot of settings and stuff but it will certainly boost your fps, of course, you should use optifine as it makes a big difference on your fps rate and maybe use a texture pack which boosts your fps and might reduce lag too ( I personally use the Dynamic Duo v2 texture pack ), But despite all of this the best thing you could do is just buy a new pc. About reducing lag you could try connecting your router to your laptop using an ethernet cable the best internet connection you have the less lag you will get. I think that's about it.

a lenovo isnt for gaming

Turn down your render distance and change all graphics options to the setting that gives most FPS (most say which will be best when hovering over) and turn all particles off

Oh and maybe use an FPS boosting texture pack (sounds silly but works for me)

as well as that decreasing your Image quality (eg mine was 1920x1080 i turned it down to 1380x774) or using clients such as badlion client, lunar or optifine can increase your FPS too

Optifine is a good way to boost your FPS.
btw this really does boost your fps:
set your resolution to 1360x768
