Do you think we should be able to vote for staff promotion? (e.g. mod - sr mod)
I think it would be a nice idea to let the players decide which staff get promoted.
What do you think?

Not really, pretty sure the Public in game say wether they think a mod is great or bad, and the managers can see wether theyre a great mod and deserve a promotion. It would be nice but its really not that necessary
 
Issue with this is that people are biased, there going to vote for their friends etc. It's a creative idea i just don't it would work. Let's say hypothetically this system was used, a staff member who wasn't liked by the community but worked incredibily hard as a staff member but was never credited for it no one would vote for him. This example causes 2 things:

#1 Staff member's that maybe didn't work at they're best level got promoted when they shouldn't have.

#2 It demotivates the staff member who, lets say, worked everyday and above and beyond.

This wouldn't be a good idea because the votes may be biased, and not correct. It's good if it was just for the management team because they know whats best.

no we shouldnt be allowed to decide who gets promoted. that's only up to mega and zelkam and will forever be so
 
No. It's not our place to vote on promotions. There would be a lot of bias too, like say someone didn't like a specific mod because that mod punished them, and so that person got their friends to vote for that mod not to get promoted. It wouldn't really work out.
 
Our opinion on staff promotions is literally irrelevant due to the fact that this server is filled with 9-14 year olds who don't understand staff positions and their roles.
People here are literally annoyed at staff members for "not doing their job" when they're literally sacrificing hours of their life in order to support a minecraft server.
Due to that these kinds of polls will get unfair / biased voting as people clearly don't know what's happening behind the scenes.
Hence why InvadedLands and any server out there should not take their players' opinions over staff team activities.
