So Yesterday I downloaded a VPN to browse the internet safely. But I didn't know that the VPN was turned on automatically when you start the computer. (WHY DOES A VPN DO THIS?!)
I started my computer. Then I tried to join Invadedlands, unaware of the VPN. Later I turned off the VPN. And I tried to rejoin but it said that I was blacklisted for cheating on alts. (I think someone used the same Ip as mine and used hack on the server before)
Ok. I know Vpn is bannable but I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THE VPN was turned on automatically.
The strange thing is I can Join the server with my alt account. So this is proof that I'm not hacking or cheating.
I've made an appeal I hope the staff accepts my appeal.

Edit: Guys my IP didn't get blacklisted. The VPN's IP had already blacklisted and when I joined with the VPN, My account's IP changed to VPN's IP.

You can't even join InvadedLands on a VPN/Proxy because it times you out when you join the server. And if you want to stop the VPN from automatically starting when your turn on your computer go to Task Manager > Startup (at the top of Task Manager) > Locate the VPN/Proxy > Right click on the name of the VPN/Proxy > choose "disable". Hope this helped.

Yes, it timed out when I first tried to join. After that, I noticed that the VPN is turned on.
If I knew VPN was turned on, I would have disabled it already. :/

Did you follow the steps I told you to turn off the VPN/Proxy on startup?

Wait you joined with an alt? Staff may see that as ban evading. Good luck with the appeal though.

I'm just saying, some vpns actually allow you to play invaded.

My account was not blacklisted because I was using a VPN, I was blacklisted because someone was Hacking by using the VPN's IP.
and I didn't know that the VPN was on. Actually, why a person makes a VPN like this!
I guess it won't be a problem because my other accounts don't show up on that IP.
 
I don't know much about this.
If I get unblacklisted, the other guy who cheated using the same IP will get unblacklisted too?
Will my account remain on the VPN's IP forever?
is there a way to seperate my account from the VPN's IP?
And how did this person get banned with using a VPN?(Because If you try to join you will get timed out)

I don’t recall you can login with VPNs, however I would try and appeal this if this was the case, the chances of it being accepted are slim, however you could try and gather some evidence if actually possible.

nope i use a vpn all the time
