R/whooooshYou guys realize that not only you're not funny at all but you're actually super annoying?
With the amount of minimod sht you guys pull every day you guys are annoying as fk.
How would you feel coming on the forums and seeing 50 notifications of "@___ please lock". Not only does it refrain you from seeing more important and need to be recognized content, but there really is no reason for you idiots to do this.
Just because a question has been answered or a thread seems pointless to you doesn't mean you can spam staff's notifications asking for it to be locked immediately.
If a thread from the above reasons is happening then staff members will see it eventually. They really don't need your minimodding to help them.
The only way I can see this as reasonable / acceptable is when a thread is breaking some type of rules regarding toxicity, where then it's required and even needs an immediate lock.
So shut the hell up because you're not helping anyone, nor are you getting any closer to your precious staff positions.
Well guess what I just did. You're gonna have to wait to find out!R/actuallyshutthehellup
You know what you're doing is fkn annoying and you're not even attempting to apologise for your actions.
Honestly I never really despised you until now when you replied with that immature, idiotic and disrespectful comment.
Honestly fk off.
Just stop replying to this thread with annoying commentsWell guess what I just did. You're gonna have to wait to find out!
no uJust stop replying to this thread with annoying comments

stfu bruh. how tf is this getting out of 'hand'@Decay this thread is getting out of hand. Requesting ?
ForDang everyone getting so heated over the meme requests in this thread.
I understand your anger towards threads being locked when you don't see it fit, however many times it's a good thing. When a question has been answered and there are twenty people replying to it with the exact same answer worded slightly differently, the thread should be locked to prevent message boosting and unnecessary notifications for the thread's creator. If a thread has turned toxic and the messages in it consist of fights and insults, it should be locked. Some staff don't mind being tagged for locks (for example: Decay, Nicki, S0V) and Nicki has encouraged it in the past. If a thread has no reason to be locked, it won't be locked. Simple as that. If you personally are annoyed by the minimods (who, for the most part, are simply trying to help) just ignore them. You can block them on the forums so you can't even see their messages if it truly annoys you so much you can't just ignore it.You guys realize that not only you're not funny at all but you're actually super annoying?

Yea but half of these people like Daveflights r just doing all this so they can try and get on the good side of staff and minimod so they can become trainee or be acceptedI'll give my view on it.
Personally, I do not mind being tagged to lock threads, occasionally I will go through my alerts and clean/lock threads that do genuinely need it. Now, I am not going to speak on behalf of staff members or put words into other staff members but maybe some of them dislike it. They may not want to be tagged all the time and have their alerts spammed of "requesting locks. but there is nothing against the rules stating you can't.
It is best to respect the staff's opinions on whether they want to lock threads or not.
For me personally, if I am tagged and the thread is not in need of a lock I will leave it and just ignore the alert. If it is needed the thread will be dealt with accordingly.
I physically cannot stress the importance of respecting the staff's opinion on locking threads, we are all human and all have different mindsets and views.
As briefly mentioned above, there is nothing in the rules stating you cannot do this, therefore there is nothing wrong with players kindly asking.
There is a huge difference between mini-modding and simply asking for a thread to be locked.
As I am fairly interested to see players opinions I am going to delete all toxic comments and leave the thread open.
Once I am happy enough the thread will be locked

LmAoI understand, but no one is going to just get mod for tagging staff members and asking for a lock.
I mean, even my dog can do that, I think?
dont lock this pls
