Greetings everyone,

I have a really good idea for Playervaults, I think that you should be able to view other players playervaults this is a significant idea because you can see what other people have and view there playervaults!

The command would be /pv (name) (number) You can already do that if you have perms but there should be maybe a custom GUI that you can do /pv (name) then it shows all there pv’s and you can just click to view it but you wouldn’t be able to take anything

This wouldn't work. PlayerVaults is a plugin that was not developed by InvadedLands. To do this, TehNeon would have to make this.

this idea is fucking stupid and it should be common sense why this shouldn't be implemented

What benefits would this bring to the server? Not bashing your idea, just looking for more info about it

see this is false, as staff can view other players vaults, which means they use a skinned PVX plugin, there is a node in the plugin (not the one you linked as they use a "custom" PlayerVaultsX) called playervaults.others.view that would simply let the player view it. playervaults.others.edit lets you see and take from their vaults so that would not be an issue either. it's a simple command "/rank addperm Overlord/God/Lord playervaults.others.view" and it's done.

i PERSONALLY don't think this would be implemented as it is too op imo, if i were still councillor i would deny this suggestion.

Not exactly. It is a separate plugin, however, it is open source, so modifications could be made.

I have used playervaults before, and you can view others playervaults by default. It is definitely possible they have made changes, but viewing other's pv's as a staff member is a part of the plugin by default. You have been around here for longer than I have tho, so you also might have heard something I don't know.

It's not a part of the plugin that recognizes a staff can view vaults, although they can view them, like I said it is the node that has to be given to the players. All they have to do is run a simple command. Everyone can have it if they'd like them to, but they obviously reserve that for the staff. Again, suggest to the council and see where it goes. It would obvi have to be a rank perm and it is SUPER op so i don't see anyone but Overlord/God having this. This is something I wouldn't even give on my server.

Yea its obviously the node, but by default the node allows people to edit vaults, which again links back to them having to make a custom node for opening but not editing.

Either way, it isn't a great idea to add imo.

1. IL doesnt use aquacore & inhereitance exists (OL gets god's perms, god gets lords perms etc)
2. Stop advertising the council pls.

PVX ISNT THE SAME FUCKING THING AS VAULT. THEY'RE TOO DIFFERENT PLUGINGS MADE BY 2 DIFFERENT PEOPLE.

bruh. /vault is just an alias of /pv on invaded. both are default aliases for PVX. I’ve used the plugin. i recognize it very well. the use some version of pvx modified or not
