Hi,

I'm a skyblock player and since i joined invadedlands i saw the skyblock server was very active in terms of "player-created" events and i find that pretty cool!

But these events are very limited : skin contest, jump/parkour event, ...

I thought it might be a good idea to make a way for players to unclaim a certain location of their island (with x, z AND y), maybe in the same way than how you claim on the survival server but to unclaim?

You are gonna tell me "why would you want to unclaim parts of your island?"

In my opinion doing so will allow new kinds of player-created events to appear on the server, such as spleef events, small build contests, a "find the treasure" event and even a lot of other events i didn't think of.


Please tell me what you think about that in the thread and feel free to comment why you agree/disagree ?

(Sorry if my english isn't perfect since i'm not english native)

If the host does the wrong command it could lead to bad stuff indeed

The "unclaim" could take the form of an item you place and which unclaims to a certain distance, or something else idk!
 
there are no plugins capable of doing that even if you wanted to tehneon would basicly have to create a new plugin from scratch
 
If it's not possible to create such things on a player's island do you think it would be possible to create private zones for players to build their event with a /warp (totally outside of their island) and where the "/claim" would replace the claiming system of every player's island?

if made properly it def could be a cool addition
 
your island is not a claim. an warp for events would completly overtake regular events, and there is no point in adding private zones when you can go to /is settings and allow breaking blocks.

if you allow block breaking, whats stopping people taking spawners

i like this idea. its cool. skyblock needs more events cus like i am not big brain and cannot come up w any so if i do them its the same basic two things. cool idea u have big brain.

If your serious about it, than make a ticket on the player council discord than. (the tickets are closed atm but should open soon)
 
Although, this seems like a good idea I know there's going to be a way a player will abuse this and find a glitch somehow. The glitch can be like going to your island that is claimed and just grief and steal everything. And steal all of your spawners. So imo I think it's a meh idea.
 
I'll make a ticket when it opens then

Maybe there's a way to make it safe i have no knowledge in plugins etc,
If it's too risky/hard to implement i'll perfectly understand

Just trying to create new ways for players to interact to try to break the "farm-afk-farm" scheme of skyblock ;)
