The truth about staff applications

(Before you send anything bad in the comments please just read the whole thing) I mean, idk if it is true but evidence says so. (These are just my opinions)
Invadedlands staff will only accept you if you 17+.
The reason I believe this is I saw a builder application get denied, so I thought “oh he is just some 12 yo kid trying to get staff” but no, this guy was 16 and has been a builder on a server for 8 months. They put a lot of effort in their application and they got denied. The thing that disturbed me was that another guy that was accepted was 18 and yet put less effort in their application and guess what, THEY GOT ACCEPTED.
I guess you legit have to be 18 to be accepted. If you are 17 you will get accepted but when you are a trainee your just gonna get demoted.

That's wrong. He most likely got denied due to the fact that he stole some of the builds from another server or they weren't that good of builds in the 1st place. And don't compare staff applications with builder applications. If you have a lot of building experience & actually have the patience & creativity to build nice maps (personally struggle with that) they will more likely accept you even if you're under 16 (but still 14 or older)

And regarding staff applications, look at Lumboc (who btw is just 1 year older than me). He was 15 when he got accepted for staff, so that shows that what you said isn't true at all.
 
Not Really true, Apex was 15 when he was promoted to Admin, MegaPvP (I think) Is 16 and he is a Manager, i dont think Invaded cares about your age although it does massively help to be older. IE: Theyre more likely to accept a 15 year old, rather than a 13 year old just based on maturity, since 15 year olds are most likely more mature. Same with 15 and 17 year olds, theyre more likely to accept the 17 year old again based on maturity,

Now your saying that they will ONLY accept you if you are above the age of 17

Which isnt really true, they accept all ages its just preferred.

false, I was 15 when I got accepted in summer.
 
Thanks also I can tell if anyone did not read my thread fully because I said it was my opinion
 
I understand it's your opinion and I know you're a good kid with good attentions and just trying to spread an idea that there is a flaw in the system. You just have to understand that if the person is older, they're generally more mature and easier to explain things to and are faster at learning new concepts and ways of doing things. It just makes sense that they would accept older people as they are easier to work with and it's so unfortunate that they got denied, however, they're applying to volunteer for a minecraft server. It's just a way of life and they have to move on and can apply again in a month or so, or just take this as a way to say to themselves "maybe I didn't try my hardest and there was some room for improvements here and there". No one is perfect, this applies to the applicant and staff themselves. Most staff likely applied when they were 15 - 17 years old. It's life ?‍♂️
 
To anyone applying for staff and are near the minimum acceptance age, you have 100% a decreased chance at staff. But you have to prove yourself. Be the black sheep of the herd and prove that you're mature enough for staff and prove the general standards wrong. Sure the ages of the average staff member is 17+ but you could be unique and bring something to the table that they might not have brought. Be the difference. Be the change. Good luck
 
Couldn’t have said it better @Subsy. I did a staff ap and I’m 13 and got denied. I didn’t get denied because I was necessarily 13, I just made a very terrible unorganized application because I’m terrible at that stuff xD. Just don’t think about it too hard, the other guy just may have been a better fit that’s all.

Being 17+ just means that you're more likely to be accepted, compared to someone that is younger than 17, but it doesn't mean you will get automatically denied..
