Why is a KitPvP reset needed?
The current season started around 6 months ago.
Everything was going great honestly.
We were building new warps, started grinding, making deals for wealthiness, etc.
Although after about 3 months after this whole period, KitPvP started to get boring.
about 60% of players were in no money issue, were stacked on gear, and doing deals wasn't needed unless you wanted to grind.
This issue wasn't very bold at start, you could use emojis to describe the whole season;
:cool: > :D > :) > ? > ? > ?
Every month it changed.
:cool: (June) - We're all building warps, trying to get wealthy, all is well!
:D (July) - Still working on warps, making them big and fancy, reached the first 100k! yay!
:) (August) - Finished my warp, it's looking pretty good. Reached 400k! woop!
? (September) - Reached 1mil... yay.
:confused: (October) - First time a player gets to 5mil, all the grinders have pvs of prot 4s, s4s, and strs..
? (December) - Basically nothing to do. Just waiting for the reset to happen.

Now, don't get me wrong. It's still fun to hang around with friends and play events, but I barely go down at spawn pvp zone anymore trying to grind for some items or even sell my stuff, I just don't really bother because I know I won't have a use for them.
I do make IRL deals here and there, but it's because I have no use for 90% of my items. They just lay in my vaults without a purpose.

If you take a close look at the current baltop, 2 and a half of the pages are filled of people who have over a million in cash.
An amount most of us could only dream of 2 seasons ago!
But right now, people are just giving out money because they literally have no use for it.

Same with loot, people have FULL VAULTS of strengths, sharp 4s, prot 4s, etc but they have nothing to do with it but spend it on IRL deals.

As said before, player warps were basically finished between July-August and we were just waiting for a new season so we can get a new design going in our pw.

Now, as you probably know a Skyblock Reset took place about 3 days ago, and for once I do agree that it needed a reset before KitPvP, but now that you're done with that, it's probably time to get finished with Kit, right?
I'm not going to be needy and ask for a reset right here, right now, because it's something that actually takes time to take place, although I would like to encourage you, using this thread, to do so as fast as possible.
Because right now, people are leaving because they are bored of this season and their last message is "I'll come back when Kit resets".

before reset i actually liked the server.. now its very laggy and boring for me. Part of the reason i dont play as often as before is because of how stacked i got and there being nothing better to do but to get more stacked
 
we are defiantly getting a reset and we all know that by now, it has been floating around for about 2 months now... i think they are trying to train up all the new staff before the reset though so they don't have to worry about doing it post-reset, considering the chaos that a new season brings along with it. patience is key on this stuff because if it is rushed, things will get overlooked... also the player council is taking a vote soon on the new features to be added, so i think they will want to have all the new features set up in place and ready for the next season too, so that it will be a reset worth anticipating. for now, we will continue to give away all our money and stare at our aging private warps, while we wait.

i actually don't mind giving away all that i have, it is a lot of fun to host those types of giveaways at this time of the season because it gives the people who are either new to kit, or never had the chance to, to experience the satisfaction of opening an invaded crate and obtaining a potato. in my opinion, i think this next season will be the biggest we've ever had, and i think that also plays into why the reset is taking so long, and the reason why stats haven't been reset. i am thinking they will possibly be giving us a new map too, and if they're doing that then they'd defiantly do it this season.

While I do agree with everything you said, let's not forget that people are leaving the server on a daily basis, simply because they are getting bored of it.
I understand that they are preparing some big features for the next season, although I do feel like they should give us something while we're waiting..
As I mentioned, I know a reset can't happen right here right now, but I do wish that they either give us something worth staying for while we wait, or possibly try to speed up the preparation.
Don't get me wrong, I love Neon, and I think he's doing a great job, but considering the fact that when Skyblock reset a few days ago, all they got is spawner stacking (Which could've been implemented in no time using UltimateStacking or what not) and a command re-enabled, I do not think that we're expecting too much right now.
I'm still waiting patiently for the reset, and really don't mind giving some kits on my Overlord alt or some money here and there, but I have thought more than once on quitting the server until a reset is coming, due to how bored I am of the current season and players constantly begging me for goods.
I used to be extremely active on kit, as a lot of people know, although now like many people I'm joining the server, hoping for some fun gameplay, although I very shortly leave since I'm so bored.

I have some great plans for the next reset, such as a new pw, a gaming plan, etc. , I'm just a little frustrated I'll have to wait a good month for it to come.
 
You're saying you have vaults full of s4 and I've got one set of unenchanted diamond in mine haha.
Agree with everything you said though, think this should be a high priority on the staff to-do list.

well, i do think the reset will be in about a month, its just really weird timing, and i think it has been hard on the staff since skeppy and zelk have very little to do with anything anymore, most of this stuff is being thrown on apex and tehneon to get done. i know apex has been super stressed with everything and neon has been getting complaints left and right on skyblock and the new forums about stuff. in my opinion i think skeppy should step up a little because this last couple months he has had no presence on invaded other than UHC, but then again he has been dealing with the whole moving to LA situation which i understand, because i am moving soon and it has had a big impact on my channel and my activity on invaded. i know for a fact that kit will be getting more features, i know i have submitted a couple, one was accepted by the council and the other is still being voted on by the council and i think they're both great implementations.

Just an advice: stop calling people by their real names especially when they are uncomfortable about it and the other members do not know who the ones you are mentioning are

Also, the council is a joke, nothing is going to be done even if the suggestion passes through the council

there, happy? you can delete your reply if you still feel that calling them by their real name is uncomfortable... the only people that should really be concerned with what i said anyways are people who know their names anyways, and that response was made for @McDonalds ...

also, council player voting is coming up soon.. i wouldn't doubt that new stuff won't be added.

First off, I agree with Invincible that you shouldn't call people here by their real names, I don't think they feel very comfortable with it.
Second, Apex as far as I know does not have any impact on the reset, and it's basically all on Zelk, Mega and Neon.
About Skeppy "stepping up a little", he won't. Trust me. We've been complaining since forever for Skeppy to actually do other things that do not contain using for video content, but I really doubt we're going to meet 2015-2017 hard working Skeppy again.
If moving to LA would be a huge impact on his life then he wouldn't upload twice daily. Making it seem like he probably has an hour to check on his playerbase, forums and suggestions on the server that he makes a living off.

As mentioned by invincible, I highly doubt the council is actually going to be a serious part of InvadedLands.
The last post regarding new features accepted was made close to 2 months ago, yet we don't have any of the features mentioned in their post, which are necessary to keep their playerbase and source of income alive.
Apologies to Apex, but I'm at this point laughing from how low the expectations are from them right now.
 
This was written beautifully. I fully agree with your opinion. I also still like to come on and talk, but since Huso is like 33k in the lead or something what is there to do?

I feel personally attacked for being the first to get 5 mil ? jk I think you bring up some really good points and I feel the same way—there’s just not much to play for nowadays besides saying hi to friends. Hope reset is around the corner!

Tbh I feel like they shouldn't reset the server. I mean stat resets I agree with, honestly. And also map changes. But resetting everything the players worked for? The player warps. The amount of money someone has? Imo I feel like we shouldn't just get rid of all of it and leave it in the past season. Why is a reset needed. Sure they have very cool features they're going to add, but can't they just add it in this season. And like a Christmas map. Our stats will probably be reset but I can agree with that. And now we're just waiting for the reset to happen at this point because we all know it's coming. But do we really just have to get rid of everything we worked for? The pw's all our kits p4's and all of our pots? I feel like they shouldn't reset but insert new things during that season.. But once you reach high kills like 10,000 or 5,000 or maybe even 1,000 for example you can rebirth and get more stuff. Like maybe 3 overlord kits or 2 keys? I feel like this would be cool. And I really don't think the reset is needed. Because once we hear the news that it's coming we're just waiting at that point. So I feel like the server shouldn't just be reset and we lose everything we once had. I hope someone will agree with me. (And not be toxic towards me.) So this is where I end my argument.

A reset must happen to keep the server balanced, and to let newbies attempt to grind to the top, and be the wealthiest on the server.
They really can't do that with people like mrtnbs having 5mil on baltop or people strength potting on every s4 they see.
Resets are what's keeping the server alive.
